A 9K rose gold Edwardian engraved hinged bangle bracelet fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1911. This 1/4" wide hollow bangle features engraving on the front half which extends to the ends of the unengraved back side. It has a hinge, a box clasp and a safety chain. The colour is an intense rose gold and it has both 9 and 375 hallmarks along with an A.L.W.H maker's mark. It weighs 8.3 grams and is in very good condition with no bends, corrosion, damage or repairs however there are three dents on the engraved front one of which has a crack to the gold (see images). A German pink china pigs in champagne bottle whimsy circa 1890. This vintage unmarked hand painted figural whimsy is 5-3/4" long and 2-3/8" high (maximum) and it is in the form of two pink pigs with a champagne bottle - one leaning on the outside and the other sitting on a plinth and peering out from the bottle in the center. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than what appears to be a minor paint miss on the the tip of one ear. A scarce WMF boy with snail pewter card tray circa 1900. This original period Art Nouveau oval calling card salver measures 11" x 5-3/8". it was made in Germany by WMF. WMF is the short form in current company use by the highly regarded German metal manufacturer Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik which began in 1853 in Geislingen an der Steige. This tray has the 210 embossed pattern number and WMFB 0X under the boy's hair on the back. It is all original and not a reproduction and we haven't polished it preferring to maintain the wonderful patina only developed with age (many are over-polished or have been silver plated). This item is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the warm and attractive patina from age and use. A truly fine example of Art Nouveau design. A Scottish sterling silver banded agate sword and shield brooch pin dated 1863. Although a common form this example is one of the most ornate and best constructed we have seen. It measures 2-3/4 x 1", the silver is deeply and intricately tooled and the cut and polished banded agates are well matched and are gray (or grey), white and blue striped. The shield is mounted by wire pins through loops on the sword back and most unusual is a hand-etched British hallmark shield with the letter and number cyphers indicating a manufacturing date of Dec. 6, 1863. This item is in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bend to the C from the original c-clasp (easily straightened). An antique 9K men's signet ring with a photo locket top. This Victorian gentleman's size 8-1/2 or size 8.5 ring features a 5/8" x 1/2" upper section fashioned from an actual Victorian hinged photo locket which has been soldered shut and engraved with an ornate Gothic GWS monogram. It has Birmingham, England hallmarks for 1864 (no Queen's head). This ring bears an inscription on the interior under the top section of WITH FONDEST LOVE LIZZIE. It weighs 6.7 grams. We have not attempted to break the solder and open it. A distinctly different unusual love token item of jewellery. A Victorian 3 strand alpaca man's pocket watch chain with an engraved slide from the 1880-1890 era. This 12-1/4" man's accessory has a t-bar and a swivel and the decorative and fancy slide and ends all have hand engraving. The slide has a loop for a fob and a Gothic GB monogram; this chain is made of alpaca (an imitation silver) and it is also known as silveroid, German silver and other names (there is no silver content). An 800 silver Art Nouveau floral German napkin ring circa 1900. This high style, high relief table decor item measures 1-1/2" wide and 1-7/8" across the interior. The beautiful design goes around the outside and it has a fancy Gothic B monogram as well as a full set of hallmarks from Germany. It also has the maker's mark for Franz Mosgau of Berlin (est. 1807) and this item dates to the 1895-1900 era. It is in very good condition with a small dent/rim split at the top rim of the napkin ring which is at the seam where the silver was soldered into a ring. It has various small and shallow dents and bends most of which are most likely from the hand forming and embossing of this item.
