A Royal Bayreuth woman tending ducks creamer and sugar. This 3-5/8" tall porcelain sugar bowl and matching 2-3/4" tall creamer were made by Royal Bayreuth, Bavaria (Germany) circa 1910-1920. The creamer depicts a lady tending geese. Each piece is trimmed in gold and they have the blue Bayreuth mark. This set is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor loss to the gold on the upper rims and on the sugar bowl knob and handle tops. A pair of Roden sterling silver handle wood salad servers. These ornate 10-1/4" serving implements feature wooden spoon and fork inserts with sterling silver handles marked with the Roden mark along with REG'D 1901 STERLING. Birks took them over later but the 1901 registry mark indicates an Edwardian date for the manufacture of these servers. They are in very good condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a small chip off one tine of the fork. A Fukagawa double gourd vase 1900-20. This fine quality and likely late vintage Meiji-Taishō era 4-3/8" tall Japanese porcelain hand painted vase is by the renowned Fukagawa Porcelain Company firm of Japan c1900-20. This vase has a blue tassel and two painted small floral groups in gold, green, orange and black. There is a gold upper rim. The mark is the Mount Fuji and stream with the Fukagawa signature, identified on gotheborg.com as being is used from 1900-20. We were also informed this was purchased in the 1920s. The darkness under the base is old glue from an applies felt bottom which is no longer present (we will clean the glue residue before shipment). An exceptional and elegant antique Edwardian gold filled 1" diameter photo locket with lovely engine turned purple and white enamel plus seed pearls. It has a ring of leaves on white enamel surrounding the center and the back is undecorated and it has never been monogrammed. It retains the photo retaining bezels in the interior along with the celluloid windows (one side has a later cobalt blue painted background) and it has the F & B initials for Foster and Bailey of Providence, RI. A fine quality lady's gold filled engraved hunter case pocket watch by Regina. Trade marked by the Omega Watch Company in 1911, this example has a serial number corresponding to the period btween 1913 and 1916. The porcelain dial has black markers, a single-sunk seconds dial and blued hands. It is marked with the retailer's name A.M. GILPIN with the town name DUNNVILLE, ONT. (Canada), a small town near Hamilton. The superbly decorated hunter case is stamped 184521 SOVEREIGN GOLD FILLED with the E in a maple leaf mark for Ellis. The 28 mm. works are marked REGINA WATCH Co. SWISS 7 JEWELS 2 POSITIONS 4655766, and this watch measures 36 mm. across. This watch works fine and keeps time, however we recommend that all timepieces should be professionally cleaned and adjusted, and they are being sold as described without warranty. An Edwardian Paye & Baker bluebird of happiness enamel sterling pin brooch from the 1910 1920 era. This well-made 1-5/8 x 1/2" pin has matte finish enamel with a yellow throat and blue plumage as well as an orange eye (not yellow as in our photos). It is stamped with P&B in hearts maker's mark for Paye & Baker of Attleboro, Massachusetts (1901~1960) and it has the original c-clasp. A sterling silver C.H.S. tennis sports award fob pendant from 1915. This Canadian 1" across award has ornate high relief decoration - a wreath of maple leaves on the inscription side and a tennis player in action on the other with a leaf garland. The inscription states: "C.H.S. -1915- ANTHONY C MURPHY" and this beauty weighs 9.9 grams. An early 20th century nickle silver Sturdy ring box from 1900-20. This 1-1/4" across box has an engine turned design with a central medallion which has never been monogrammed. It has a canted profile when opened and it has a velvet and silk interior. It has a pushbutton clasp and it is stamped THOMAS LEES HAMILTON, a jewellery on James Street in Hamilton, Ontario dating to before Canada's Confederation in 1867. The box was made by Sturdy and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A Pforzheim Germany plique-a-jour enamel Arts and Crafts necklace from the 1910 era. This stunning survivor from the Edwardian era was made in the Pforsheim area of Germany which was the center of such items. Plique-a-jour (French: "Light of Day") refers to the labour-intensive technique of repeatedly firing enamel in metal-bordered cells resembling cloisonne, resulting in unbacked transluscent panels. This fine example measures 1-7/8 x 15/16", it has a baroque pearl drop and a pink tourmaline in silver (800 grade or better) with pale lavender purple enamel panels. The best exponent of this work was the firm of Levinger & Bissinger who were prime exponents of the Jugendstil movement. Included is a contemporary associated arts and crafts 25-3/8" chain (stamped STERLING on the hook and eye clasp) from which is suspended the pendant on a 4-1/8" drop with a hook suspension. The pendant has an impossible to read mark which appears to be a diamond cartouche containing a B and a possible animal head - a silver mark but as yet unidentified. This piece looks like the work of Levinger & Bissinger but we are unable to definitively confirm it's one of their pieces. This rarity weighs 7.1 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs; a couple of enamel panels show natural striations form their manufacturing process. An antique 40 drawer pine store spice cabinet. This exceptional 19th century find is most likely Canadian and it dates from the late 19th century to the very early 20th century. It features four rows of ten drawers each and each row has drawers of a different size (one large drawer has a tin divider which may have been added later). All drawers and the back of the cabinet are constructed of tin and the frame and drawer fronts are of old and very heavy pine. It is of forged nail construction and with this many drawers it was undoubtedly from a store, grocer or apothecary and it would be great for hardware, buttons, sewing supplies or just for display. Most of these cabinets are small and either for a tabletop or wall mounted; this one measures 32" x 18-1/2" x 6-5/8" deep. It weighs an impressive 46-1/2 pounds (old, thick pine is HEAVY) and it retains all of its original porcelain knobs or pulls with brass center screws and nuts. It is unsigned and it has been lovingly refinished and there are traces of old paint in the drawers and on the tin backing. It is in excellent condition with no losses, damage or repairs other than a trim loss on the lower right front corner and the refinishing. A fine quality and vintage hand painted Dresden porcelain 3-1/4" tall lidded mustard pot c1900-20. This lovely German porcelain serving piece features ornate and fine hand painted floral groupings in lush colours as well as gold highlights and trim. An ornate Art Nouveau gold filled photo locket on chain necklace with maiden circa 1900. This late Victorian 1-13/16" diameter locket has high relief decoration including a maiden and a poppy flowers border. The back has an ornate AJM monogram and the interior has two photo retaining bezels and one celluloid window. It is gold filled and unsigned and it comes with a later 24-1/4" long and 1/16" wide rope twist gold filled chain with a springring clasp. A 14k Victorian five pearls row ring circa 1900. This size 5-1/4 ring (actually just a shade over 5-1/4 and under 5-1/2) features a row of five natural pearls. The pearl setting measures 9/16 x 1/8" and the pearls range from 1.5 to 2 mm in width. Four have a nice silvery/creamy lustre while the smallest on the end is slightly lighter and duller and may have been replaced. A Scottish Dirk pebble and crystal knife pin or brooch from the 1900 era. This late Victorian/early Edwardian pin had fine hand engraving and tooling, the amber stone is of molded glass and the two stones are of red jasper and (probably) black onyx. It measures 2-7/8" long and 3/4" at its widest, it has the original c-clasp and it is stamped SILVER. This Scottish clan classic style brooch is still being produced today and this example is an antique one. A 9k yellow gold Edwardian rhodolite garnet and seed pearls ring fully hallmarked for Chester, England 1903. This size 6 ring features three seed pearls on each side of the natural garnet and it has an Ionic column design on the shoulders and shank and it is 1/4" wide across the top of the ring. It weighs 3.1 grams and it is stamped with the hallmarks and a maker's mark T&S (probably W.H. Tandy & Sons (1896-1957). An Art Nouveau sterling daisy flower purse handle chain from the 1900 era. This 16-3/8" chain consists of oval daisy flower cast sterling silver links which are 3/8" wide. Originally on a late Victorian purse, this chain has two large loop for mounting but it could easily have a clasp added for use as a necklace (or a doubled bracelet).
