An Art Deco Lightolier luster Czech glass shade ceiling lamp from the 1920s. This scarce beauty has a paneled Czechoslovakian pale yellow lustre glass shade with floral screened designs in blue, yellow and orange. The shade is stamped LIGHTOLIER and it measures 8-1/8" across the open bottom and 9-1/4" in total across. The top opening is 6-3/4" and this lamp retains its original cream-painted metal mount with three metal spokes with finger screws. The socket assembly is gilded and this lamp has the original chain, mounting nut and central threaded core; it has been recently rewired and it works and shows beautifully. Lightolier was the brand name for lamps made by Bernhard Blitzer Gas and Appliance Co. of Brooklyn, New York who started out in the 1800s before changing to Lightolier early in the century. This classy addition to your home decor is in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a few very small shallow flakes to the unfinished edge of the shade's inside top rim from mounting to the bracket. A Curt Schlevogt Czechoslovakia malachite glass perfume bottle with a cabochon from the 1930s. Typical of his pioneering work with this type of glass, this 2-7/8" tall and 2-1/2" across bottle has an Oriental motif and the variegated green and gloss and satin finish found on vintage 1930s pieces. It retains its original gilt brass openwork stopper which has a claw-set cabochon green Peking glass cabochon stone. Although the original moulds continue to be used the earlier examples have the variations in the colour and finish of the glass (a couple of dark green lines can be seen but these are colour glass threads, not cracks). This unsigned perfume or scent bottle is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs. All condition issues are noted. An authentic 1920s slag glass scenic chandelier ceiling lamp. This hexagonal 16" across and 12" deep beauty features caramel swirl slag glass panels, an upper gallery of blue, purple and caramel slag panels and a lower skirt of blue, purple and deep yellow panels resembling cloudy sky under cutout scenic gold patinated and lacquered brass framework structure of a house with trees. It is unsigned, it has the original gilded brass canopy and it has been resocketed and rewired. We've shown it lit with a 25 watt candle bulb but a higher wattage will look quite impressive. A sterling silver cut glass & celluloid smelling salts bottle dated 1922. This fine quality 2-3/8" high bottle features a celluloid insert in the sterling silver top and a panelled cut glass base. The bottle retains the original brown cotton batten and the hand cut fitted glass stopper. The silver is stamped with a full set of hallmarks for Birmingham, England 1916 and it has the maker's mark for Percy James Finch of Birmingham (est. 1916). The top has the engraved dedication "TO 'GRANDMA' FROM ERIC 1923" and this personal grooming or hygiene item is in very good condition with no cracks, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than one small shoulder chip and bottom rim chips to the glass, a later scratched property identification number and a small dent below the 1 in 1923 on the silver. A Colossus or Lacy Spiral Burlington Glass clear EAPG water goblet from the 1880s. This 6-1/2" tall antique pressed glass item was made by the Burlington Glass Works of Hamilton, Ontario, Canada (1874-97) (and possibly produced by other companies). Victorian cobalt glass oil lamp with etched chimney and enamel from the 1890s. This tall table lamp has a 10-1/2" deep cobalt blue base with an open cut pontil, an original Plume & Atwood Mfg. Co. 2-3/4" brass burner and collar and an etched glass 9-1/4" large glass chimney. The burner has a second 1897 renewed patent date and the burner and flat wick show no signs of use at all (no wick char or burner darkening) and there is no smell of lamp oil or kerosene. The body of the lamp has hand painted white, gold and yellow decoration with gold leaves and the chimney has a band of ribbons and torches. It stands a total of 21" tall and it is all-original and not a recent copy. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs however the shallow chimney acid etching has a few worn spots and the gold leaves on the base show some wear as well. A Victorian Aesthetic butterflies gilt basket with a cranberry glass bowl liner dated 1869. This antique serving piece is truly superb, from the immaculately detailed gilded butterfly basket with a swing handle to the original cranberry glass bowl with a polished base. The three feet have fine hand engraving and most unusually each of the seven butterflies has the old English diamond registry mark incorporated into the design, not added or stamped on later. Although unsigned this is a work of superb craftsmanship and the registry number dates the design to 1869. It measures 4-1/2" across and it stands 5-3/4" tall with the handle upright. It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, losses, damage or repairs other than a few small areas of darkening to the gilding and a couple of very tiny edge nicks to the liner. A German porcelain chicken figural schnapps or liquor decanter with glasses or cups and tray from the 1920s. This set is in orange, green and yellow luster and the cork-lined stopper shaped like feathers lifts off to reveal a filling hole. It is fully hand painted, the chicken is 8-1/2" long, the two-handled tray is 9-5/8" long and the schnapps shot glasses stand 1-5/8" high and fit on indented circles on the tray. A great example of late Victorian Art Nouveau tableware. This is a fine satin-finish green gradient-style serving or candy dish on its original Art Nouveau silverplated stand. The 5" across dish stands 3" high, it has a nice medium green colour and satin finished panels flanked by gloss-finished ribs. The 5-1/2" English-made stand (marked EPNS) stands on bun feet, has has screw and bolt mounts and high relief flowers and leaves on the base; the handles are in the form of sinuous tendrils, a favourite Art Nouveau motif. An Arts and Crafts period 800 silver and cut glass claret jug circa 1900. This antique large claret decanter has a heavy silver handle and hinged top with a ball thumb rest setd on a cut crystal decanter. It measures 13-7/8" in height and 5-1/2" across the base. It is stamped Gebr. Friedland, a Berlin jewellery retai firml, operated by the sons after the death of the founder Friedland in 1829. It has the German silver quality marks (post-1888 crescent & crown stamp), 800 silver, 49961 and the manfacturer's mark for Koch & Bergfeld of Bremen (est. 1829). There is a very finely engraved heraldic family crest with a fish, knight's helmet with three feathers and engraved scrolling. This this top quality rarity is in excellent condition with no cracks, etching or discoloration, silver corrosion or damage, repairs or alterations; there is a 1/4" chip to the crystal on the bottom rim which is only slightly noticeable when the piece is displayed from that side. A vintage Mt. Washington Quilted Diamonds huge rose bowl. This true vintage Victorian cased glass rose bowl is in attractive aqua blue and it dates around 1890. This 5-1/4" high and 6-1/4" across crimped edge posey vase is in the satin finish Quilted Diamonds pattern, produced by Mt. Washington glass.
