A signed Sherman curved 3 colour rhinestones aurora borealis bracelet from the 1950s. Bracelets with a curved semicircular profile are scarce and this example flashes brilliantly. It measures 7-1/4 x 5/8", the stones are all claw set and it closes with a box clasp. The stones range from light brown marquise shaped stones to deep yellow round with a multitude of pink aurora borealis stones. It is gold plated, it is stamped SHERMAN on the clasp and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the replacement of two small AB rhinestones which are more blue than the original pink stones. This beauty features a moulded white milk glass floral insert surrounded by pale pink enamel daisy flowers on a wide chrome plated spring-mounted clamper bracelet. A genuine 3 strand angel coral necklace with a carved coral drop from the 1980s. This wonderful and scarce necklace features three strands of genuine white and orange/pink angel hair coral 5.3 mm. beads and three baroque pearl and two gold bead spacers per strand. We haven't tested the gold but the coral tests as genuine and it is undyed and original in colour. The shortest strand is 28" and the hand carved floral drop measures 1-3/8 x 3/4". The workmanship is very fine and the drop's tiny linking coral beads are as small as 1.7 mm. This 9-1/4" (maximum) chain shrinks to 6-1/8" when the two engraved slides are separated (which contracts the chain forming a double chain between them, shown partly drawn in our second image). It has a t-bar and a swivel as well as two textured balls which act as stops for the slides. It is stamped W.LH.&Co. on the swivel and it is a neat bit of Victorian ingenuity.
