An Edwardian 14K white and yellow gold rod link watch chain from the 1910 1920 era. It measures 13-1/2" long, the links alternate from elongated diamond shaped in yellow gold with rectangular lined white gold links and it has a swivel and springring clasp. The links are of hollow construction and this fine chain is is stamped 14K on the jump rings and on the inside of the swivel. A Scottish agates sterling silver banded agate sword pin circa 1911. This handsome dirk pin features finely banded agate cased in a hand-engraved "sheath"; the hilt of the knife features a cabochon agate stone. It is fully hallmarked for Birmingham, England 1911-12, and it has the maker's or retailers mark for Adie & Lovekin. Many of these pins were made in Scotland and hallmarked in Birmingham, although some were made there as well. A man's 10k yellow gold garnet ring from 1910 1920. This size 11-1/4 ring features a rectangular emerald cut red garnet stone mounted in an attractive high setting. The stone measures 3/8 x 5/16", the ring weighs 4.5 grams and it is stamped .P&S. with no carat mark (there are signs of an earlier resizing which may have removed the gold mark, however it tests as 10k gold). A lake boat solid bronze ship bell from 1900-20. This 8-1/4" diameter unsigned bell was from a Great Lakes ship or boat (possibly a ferry) and it retains its original eye and rod clapper with a loop for a rope pull. A scarce sterling silver filigree posey holder pin circa 1900 1910. This antique 2-1/4" long and 1" across (unmarked but tested) fantastic posy or corsage brooch is an example of ornate and very fine silver work. The ball and wire end makes me think it may be an older Indonesian / Yogya piece. It was assembled from three separate sections of filigree silver. It may be older than our estimate. This possible bridal item either started out as a flower bouquet holder and had the pin added or was always a posy-pin. It has a c-clasp. It can readily be converted to (or back to) a small bouquet holder. It weighs 12.6 grams, and it is in excellent condition for its age and fineness, with no corrosion or repairs other than what appears to be a small section of missing wire and the c-clasp has been repaired. A superb post-Edwardian sterling silver and enamel sports award fob or pendant dated 1915. This 1-1/2 x 1-1/4" running or track award features fine cobalt enamel and a central gold washed or gilded medallion depicting a runner. It is dedicated on the back with the legend ST. M.C.I. An Edwardian period 14k yellow gold peridot and seed pearls lavaliere necklace circa 1900 1910. This elegant antique lavalliere necklace measures 14-1/2" long. The drop pendant is 2-3/4" across and 2" long. The peridot and seed pearls are genuine gem stones. The two chains, one with a spring-ring catch, measure 6" each, and this necklace weighs 4.3 grams. A Fukagawa double gourd vase 1900-20. This fine quality and likely late vintage Meiji-Taishō era 4-3/8" tall Japanese porcelain hand painted vase is by the renowned Fukagawa Porcelain Company firm of Japan c1900-20. This vase has a blue tassel and two painted small floral groups in gold, green, orange and black. There is a gold upper rim. The mark is the Mount Fuji and stream with the Fukagawa signature, identified on gotheborg.com as being is used from 1900-20. We were also informed this was purchased in the 1920s. The darkness under the base is old glue from an applies felt bottom which is no longer present (we will clean the glue residue before shipment). A pair of silver filigree and blue turquoise dangle tear drop earrings from the 1900 1920 era. These 2-1/8" long Edwardian earrings feature fine silver filigree work and natural turquoise cabochon stones and large robin's egg blue teardrop shaped drops. The bottom turquoise drop is substantial, so they make quite a statement. These large drop antique earrings have been converted from the original screw back to pierced mounts. This stunning survivor from the Edwardian era was made in the Pforsheim area of Germany which was the center of such items. Plique-a-jour (French: "Light of Day") refers to the labour-intensive technique of repeatedly firing enamel in metal-bordered cells resembling cloisonne, resulting in unbacked transluscent panels. This fine example measures 1-7/8 x 15/16", it has a baroque pearl drop and a pink tourmaline in silver (800 grade or better) with pale lavender purple enamel panels. The best exponent of this work was the firm of Levinger & Bissinger who were prime exponents of the Jugendstil movement. Included is a contemporary associated arts and crafts 25-3/8" chain (stamped STERLING on the hook and eye clasp) from which is suspended the pendant on a 4-1/8" drop with a hook suspension. The pendant has an impossible to read mark which appears to be a diamond cartouche containing a B and a possible animal head - a silver mark but as yet unidentified. This piece looks like the work of Levinger & Bissinger but we are unable to definitively confirm it's one of their pieces. A rare late Victorian Page or Plato clock, fully hallmarked for London, England 1901. This mechanical marvel features celluloid leaves with handpainted numerals, the top dial for hours and the bottom for minutes. The mechanism flips each page over to tell the time, and it has a round case in sterling silver. Seen occasionally in brass and in lesser metals, silver is very rare and would have been extremely expensive in its day. It has bun feet, a handle and a cylinder of very thin glass for a window. It has retainers to keep the pages open and the winder and adjustment are on the bottom. It has the maker's mark for the Charles S Green & Co Ltd and it has had a professional case-off cleaning and adjusting, involving a complete piece-by-piece disassembly and reassembly. Other than the replacement of the original damaged celluloid page retainer with a hand-cut metal one and a crack and loss to the glass cylinder, this rare clock is in excellent working condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than those noted above.
