A stunning Art Deco yellow crystal sterling silver buckle design bangle bracelet from around 1920. This vintage beauty shouts Deco and it has the same silver tooling and buckle clasp as seen on signed DIAMONBAR bracelets by Wachenheimer Bros of Rhode Island (1905-1933) and this is probably an early example. The buckle itself has white rhinestones, the sides are finely and ornately engraved, the interior is cut-out and it is stamped only STERLING. The box clasp and hinge are both heavy duty and the square princess cut lemon yellow crystal stones are a deep and vibrant shade. Yellow was a very popular early 1920s fashion color. It has a canted profile when opened and it has a velvet and silk interior. A Scottish sterling silver banded agate sword and shield brooch pin dated 1863. Although a common form this example is one of the most ornate and best constructed we have seen. It measures 2-3/4 x 1", the silver is deeply and intricately tooled and the cut and polished banded agates are well matched and are gray (or grey), white and blue striped. The shield is mounted by wire pins through loops on the sword back and most unusual is a hand-etched British hallmark shield with the letter and number cyphers indicating a manufacturing date of Dec. 6, 1863. This item is in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a bend to the C from the original c-clasp (easily straightened). A simple and elegant Art Deco design four piece sterling silver International tea set c1930s. It consists of the following: the 8" across the handle and spout and 6" high wicker handled teapot, stamped STERLING 2 PTs and 913 with the International plumed knight's helmet mark; the open sugar bowl, 4-1/2" across the handles and 2-1/8" high, stamped INTERNATIONAL STERLING c134, also with the knight's helmet mark; the cream jug, 3-1/2" across the handle and spout and 3" high, stamped INTERNATIONAL STERLING C 134 also with the knight's helmet mark. The tray is made by Towle and it is stamped TOWLE STERLING and 150. The set fits well and looks great on it, although it isn't the same maker (slight surface marks from the tea set). It measures 10-1/2" across, and has a raised straight rim that is 5/8" across and has a rolled edge. The edge curves down, approximately 5/8" deep, to an inner rim. This set is in excellent condition, with no dents, corrosion, monograms, repairs or damage. The set weighs 1074 grams (approximately 34.6 troy ounces or just over 38 avoirdupois ounces, or a bit over 2 pounds of sterling silver). It has a clean and elegant deco design that would fit beautifully in a modern decor. An English late Victorian mother of pearl handle fish set for six in fitted case 1890 1900. This set includes six 6-1/2" fish forks and six 7-3/8" scimitar-shaped fish knives. Each piece has a sterling silver patterned ferrule with silver plated blades and colourful genuine mother-of-pearl handles. The purple satin and velvet interior of the box has fitted compartments with locking brass fittings. A set of 7 hoosier glass storage jars from the 1930s with the original lids. These pressed glass hoosier kitchen food storage jars have their original aluminum lids which still fits tightly. The set consists of a set of seven including five of the 4-1/4" spice jars and two of the 7-3/4" tall canister jars. All have a ribbed pattern and all have a blank area for a contents label except for one which has an embossed COFFEE. We don't know who made them and they are in very good useful condition with no cracks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some denting on the edge of one large lid and some minor chipping and roughness to the glass support rim on two of the small jars, one of which has a couple of spots of white paint on the lid.
