This exuberantly decorated serving plate has blue trim and wild red roses, yellow and brown tulips and other flowers. It has two eared handles and this Italian ceramic or pottery decorative item is signed FNA 127 and it is impressed ITALY. It is in very good condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than a few glaze flakes along the edges and a shallow 3/4" long chip to the underside foot rim. A 10k black onyx and diamond man's signet ring circa 1950s 1960. This vintage size 11-1/4 or 11.25 gentlemans ring features a central 10 point round brilliant cut diamond set in white gold on a bezel set oval black onyx stone. The ring measures 5/8" across the 9/16" x 1/2" onyx. It weighs 6.1 grams and is marked SIFFARI 10 K. A superbly rendered and vividly coloured lifetime woodblock print by the famed Japanese artist Kawase Kasui (1883-1957), entitled "Meguro-Fudo-Do" (Fudo Temple in Meguro). First published in 1931, this is an artist's lifetime strike from the late 1940s to the early 1950s. This print is Oban size (14-1/4" x 9-1/2" image size, 19-3/4" x 14-1/4" frame size). It has the 6 mm. red seal of the publisher Watanabe Shozaburo (seal used from 1946-57). It comes in a red painted bamboo-style frame from that time period, with framing notations on the backing cardboard as well as the original Eaton's frame department sticker. This item has strong colours and the print is in excellent condition with no losses, tears, foxing, fading, damage or repairs. There is some flaking of the red paint on the frame (the shiny paint is about 50% gone however the red stain and black painted highlights remain), and some minor yellowing to the paper from age, not affecting the image. A Robert Allison Scottish sterling silver and genuine citrine round pin or brooch with a Greek key design. This vintage 1-1/2" round brooch is fully hallmarked for Edinburgh probably 1958 (we think - the date stamp is difficult to make out). This pin has a safety clasp and the citrene has been checked to verify that it is a genuine gem stone and it weighs 15.0 grams. These stones are sometimes referred to as smoky topaz, but they are actually a light brown citrine. It would make a handsome addition to your Scottish sash and kilt ensemble for a Scottish wedding or family event. A signed Sherman curved 3 colour rhinestones aurora borealis bracelet from the 1950s. Bracelets with a curved semicircular profile are scarce and this example flashes brilliantly. It measures 7-1/4 x 5/8", the stones are all claw set and it closes with a box clasp. The stones range from light brown marquise shaped stones to deep yellow round with a multitude of pink aurora borealis stones. A 10k green jadite or jade filigree cocktail ring from the 1950s. This vintage 5-1/4 or 5.25 size ring weighs 4.2 grams. The fine claw-set stone is a navette or marquise cabochon gem stone shape and it measures 1-1/8" from the tip of the setting to the other tip. An Eiichi Kotozuka Evening Snow At Kiyamachi 1950s framed woodblock Japanese print. This large Oban size print is by Kotozuka (1906-1979) and it has a sight size of 15-1/4 x 10-1/4". It has been matted and framed with a black painted bamboo style 23 x 18-1/4" frame with the print affixed to the mat. The print itself may be 1/4" larger on all sides due to the mat. It has one of the artistic "Koto" seal signatures below the print title as well as the Uchida publisher seal on the upper left of the print. Kiyamachi Street is located in Kyoto, Japan and it is a world heritage site of considerable beauty. It has a Joske's of Texas foil label on back (the department store that sold and framed this print) and the paper has been subtly embossed giving a nice three dimensional effect. Although this print was glazed when we obtained it we will be shipping it without the glass in order to protect the print from damage if the glass were to break in shipment.
