A 10k opal and rubies oval circlet ring from the 1950s - 1960. This vintage size 7 yellow gold ring features a wonderfully colorful and flashy 70 point genuine opal (calculated by gauge) which has orange, green and blue fire (only hinted at in our pictures). It is surrounded by 14 genuine round cut rubies and the setting measures 1/2" x 3/8" across. This is a classic gem design that has endured through centuries, and the rubies and oval opal enhance each other. Please note that the rubies are a slightly darker red colour than they appear in the photo (on our viewer, anyway). This ring weighs 2.5 grams, it has an obscured maker's stamp and tests as 10K or slightly higher. There is no 10 K mark, possibly the ring was sized and that mark was lost. A cultured pearls strand necklace with a sterling clasp from the 1950s. This fine vintage 16" long strand has 65 pearls of fine lustre and creamy yellowish/white colour. They are individually knotted and they measure around 5 mm. each. An Edwardian Paye & Baker bluebird of happiness enamel sterling pin brooch from the 1910 1920 era. This well-made 1-5/8 x 1/2" pin has matte finish enamel with a yellow throat and blue plumage as well as an orange eye (not yellow as in our photos). It is stamped with P&B in hearts maker's mark for Paye & Baker of Attleboro, Massachusetts (1901~1960) and it has the original c-clasp. A genuine 3 strand angel coral necklace with a carved coral drop from the 1980s. This wonderful and scarce necklace features three strands of genuine white and orange/pink angel hair coral 5.3 mm. beads and three baroque pearl and two gold bead spacers per strand. We haven't tested the gold but the coral tests as genuine and it is undyed and original in colour. The shortest strand is 28" and the hand carved floral drop measures 1-3/8 x 3/4". The workmanship is very fine and the drop's tiny linking coral beads are as small as 1.7 mm. This unsigned beauty is in excellent condition with no chips, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A Victorian gold filled double slide expanding gentleman's watch fob chain. This 9-1/4" (maximum) chain shrinks to 6-1/8" when the two engraved slides are separated (which contracts the chain forming a double chain between them, shown partly drawn in our second image). It has a t-bar and a swivel as well as two textured balls which act as stops for the slides. It is stamped W.LH.&Co. on the swivel and it is a neat bit of Victorian ingenuity. It is in excellent antique condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. Besides being a handsome style of chain, it would also make an attractive bracelet.
