A detailed intaglio Laws Scottish family crest sterling silver seal ring from 1900-1930. This vintage size 7 ring features the family crest from the Laws family with a cockerel atop the shield and the quote from Horace (30 BCE) "COMPOSITUM JUS TASQUE ANIMI" which has various translations referring to justice, uprightness and nobility of the soul (one version states "A mind which respects alike the laws of mutual justice and of god"). It is a true seal ring, with the crest in reverse so it will appear correct on the actual seal. It is shown reversed in one of our images so you can read it. This classic gentleman's pinky ring is stamped STERLING. A fine signed Birks hand engraved hinged sterling silver bangle bracelet from the 1940s-50s. It measures 8-1/2" in circumference, 2-1/2" x 2-1/4" across the interior walls, and it is 1" wide. It has a safety chain, a box clasp and it is engraved on one half with a flower and ornate engraving. It is stamped STERLING with a B in a hexagon Birks maker's mark on the inside and it weighs 42.2 grams. A 14k gold Mabe pearl and diamonds pearl enhancer pendant for a necklace. This vintage beauty has an 12mm x 6mm genuine Mabe pearl surrounded by six round genuine brilliant cut diamonds circa 1970s. Mabe pearls grow on the inside of the shell rather than the centre, so they are curved at the front but flatter at back. This necklace pendant has a pearl enhancer type loop, which means it can also be worn over a strand of pearls or some other gem stone or bead necklace also. Also lovely on a chain alone as the pendant. The pearl alone measures 12 mm. across and the six genuine modern single cut diamonds are set in white gold, with yellow gold surrounding. It weighs 3.6 grams and it has a swing-open clasp with a snap-on safety catch. Great idea for a wedding pearl necklace that can be worn over pearls or other beads. The entire pendant size is 6mm (a bit over 5/8" across - that measurement does not include the loop section, it is the measurement of the pearl section only. (by ruler) and they have a nice slightly pinkish silver luster. The * 255 AL mark is for GARBIERI ORTENSIO & FIGLIO in Alessandria, Italy (1981-). Mexican sterling silver heavy link section bangle bracelet circa 1970s 1980. This modernist sculptural 13/16" wide vintage bracelet is a Castillo design and it consists of fully hinged segments with a tall push-button box clasp. It is stamped TC-117 MEXICO 925 and it weighs an substantial 115.3 grams (3.7 ounces). Nicely finished designer quality. It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. We are not sure if TC-117 was one of the various Castillo studio marks, so unable to attribute it definitely to that firm. It certainly has the weight and stunning quality of a genuine Castillo piece. Each link freely pivots on the hinge and it measures approximately 6-3/4" in length (may be a little longer, the hinges made the tape measure go off a little). The hinges allow it to be round or oval in shape, so the interior measurement is 2" across in the round shape. The widest oval shape is 2-5/8" x 1-5/8". The hinges are just under 1/8" in width, so the measurements were taken from the hinges rather than the interior flat sections. Each link is a maximum 7/16" above the hinge.
