An Art Deco period Czechoslovakian molded green Peking glass necklace circa 1920s. This is a brass and molded floral design 17 inch long necklace with a central 1-1/4" x 1" drop with a jade green coloured molded glass floral design. The brass links are ornate and they have green glass balls on this collectible example of Czech jewellery. It has a spring-ring clasp, it is stamped CZECHOSLOV on the jump ring. Our picture has flattened the appearance of lovely floral centre drop a bit, it is actually in fairly high relief. It is in very good to excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs, but please note there is wear to the silver plating showing the brass on the chain. A Royal Doulton Pixies D3690 series ware baby or child's bowl circa 1920s. This seldom seen 7-1/2" across ceramic seriesware design shows three green and yellow garbed pixies holding Chinese lanterns. It has the black Royal Doulton England mark with the D 3690 hand painted number. It is in fair condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than a 5/8" chip to the upper rim and some allover crazing. it was introduced in 1913 and was discontinued by 1929 or 1930. An 18K white gold filigree Art Deco diamond ring from the 1920s. This size 5-3/4 vintage ring features a high-set genuine 15 point antique brilliant cut diamond with excellent clarity and color. The stone is measured in setting, so approximate. The openwork is attractive and the shoulder/sides are also ornate. It measures 1/4" x 1/4" across the setting surface. The band has a uniform thick profile but a thin width. It is stamped 18K (twice) and it weighs 1.9 grams. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion or damage. It measures 5/8 x 9/16" across the yellow/orange citrene-coloured stone and it is marked STERLING. A sterling silver cut glass & celluloid smelling salts bottle dated 1922. This fine quality 2-3/8" high bottle features a celluloid insert in the sterling silver top and a panelled cut glass base. The bottle retains the original brown cotton batten and the hand cut fitted glass stopper. The silver is stamped with a full set of hallmarks for Birmingham, England 1916 and it has the maker's mark for Percy James Finch of Birmingham (est. 1916). The top has the engraved dedication "TO 'GRANDMA' FROM ERIC 1923" and this personal grooming or hygiene item is in very good condition with no cracks, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than one small shoulder chip and bottom rim chips to the glass, a later scratched property identification number and a small dent below the 1 in 1923 on the silver. An authentic 1920s slag glass scenic chandelier ceiling lamp. This hexagonal 16" across and 12" deep beauty features caramel swirl slag glass panels, an upper gallery of blue, purple and caramel slag panels and a lower skirt of blue, purple and deep yellow panels resembling cloudy sky under cutout scenic gold patinated and lacquered brass framework structure of a house with trees. It is unsigned, it has the original gilded brass canopy and it has been resocketed and rewired. We've shown it lit with a 25 watt candle bulb but a higher wattage will look quite impressive. An Art Deco Lightolier luster Czech glass shade ceiling lamp from the 1920s. This scarce beauty has a paneled Czechoslovakian pale yellow lustre glass shade with floral screened designs in blue, yellow and orange. The shade is stamped LIGHTOLIER and it measures 8-1/8" across the open bottom and 9-1/4" in total across. The top opening is 6-3/4" and this lamp retains its original cream-painted metal mount with three metal spokes with finger screws. The socket assembly is gilded and this lamp has the original chain, mounting nut and central threaded core; it has been recently rewired and it works and shows beautifully. Lightolier was the brand name for lamps made by Bernhard Blitzer Gas and Appliance Co. of Brooklyn, New York who started out in the 1800s before changing to Lightolier early in the century. A Heisey Octagon 1229 black glass footed fruit bowl with coralene butterflies from the 1920s. This elegant glass footed bowl features lush gold trim and hand painted gold decoration along with fine blue, pink and white coralene butterflies and lily of the valley hand painted decoration. This fruit bowl or table centerpiece bowl measures 11 x 9" (including the handles) and it is an unmarked Heisey Octagon 1229 blank. We haven't seen another example of this decoration or of this black colour and it is possible that it was a special order or line made exclusively for a major retailer at the time (we have found no other examples of the blank in black glass). This rarity is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than a bit of minor wear on the heavily gold painted handles and a small drip inside the bowl from a liquid that left a 1/4" spot of fogging on the surface of the glass. A Revernay French art studio pottery vase probably from the 1920s. Made by Atelier Revernay of France (known 1896-1930s), this attractive 8 1/4" tall vase has molded drip highlights and a mottled blue and brown glaze. The blue has deep greenish under-tones. It is hand incised 23 and REVERNAY on the bottom of the vase and it has a MADE IN FRANCE over-glaze mark also. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, damage or repairs however it does have a few burst glaze bubbles around the top edge and one lower down,something that occasionally happened with expanding oxygen reacting with the heat inthe kiln.
