An Antiko Hildesheimer Rose 800 silver dessert or cake set in a fitted case box from the 1940s or 1950s. This ornate and attractive set was made by Kohlbecker Silberwarenfabrik of Pforzheim, Germany (1946-). Some sources say the "ANTIKO" trade name was used from 1959. This ornate set consists of six 4-3/4" cake forks in 800 silver as well as a matching 8-1/8" silver plated pie or cake lifter marked ANTIKO 90. The brown snakeskin style paper wrapped box has a fitted yellow and brown silk like interior; the lifter doesn't quite fit the support and it may be a replacement. This lovely set would make a great gift or highlight for your next high tea and it is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a bit of edge rubbing to the case.
