An 18k birks bow brooch with diamonds from the 1950s. This retro brooch with three claw-set round brilliant cut genuine diamonds circa 1950s is well-made; it measures 2-1/8" x 1-1/4" pin is stamped 18 K and BIRKS. A pair of (typically) unmarked Majestic Japanned wood and brass table lamps c1950s. The black painted wood includes the 7 x 4-1/2" base with a crescent moon mounted on the brass upright with a brass ball separating it from the base. They stand 17-1/2" tall including the 12 x 6-1/2" shades, which are of fiberglass with plastic stringing on the borders and a wire cage for mounting on the lightbulb. They have their original cords with Leviton sockets with inspection stickers, and both lamps work. This pair of fine Retro decorative lamps is in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor loss to the gold-plated finish over the brass and one small touched-up chip on the tip of one crescent. The rest of the black paint is intact with only tiny flakes and one scratch with the paint mostly intact. A striking vintage Mexican sterling pendant set with a mixture of inlaid lapis and malachite, with a large cabochon cut tiger eye gem in the centre c1950-60. Two of the dangling pendants are also inlaid with lapis and malachite, and the centre dangle is solid silver. The pendant alone measures 3-3/4" x 2-1/8", and weighs 26.2 grams. It is stamped STERLING 925 with the eagle mark with a 2 in the centre, and the initials MR. There was a silversmith named Melecio Rodriguez who worked at the Rancho Alegre and for Margot de Taxco, but I can't verify if this is his work or not. It comes with a 18-1/2" sterling heavy link chain (weighs 16.7 grams, not Mexican manufacture). It is in very good condition, but please note than there is 1/8" piece missing from the second inlaid drop of the pendant. Otherwise it is in lovely condition, no breaks, wear, repairs or damage. A Moorcroft art pottery 5-7/8" vase in the Anemone pattern in the flambe line. This vase was produced 1947-53 period. This vintage example is stamped MOORCROFT MADE IN ENGLAND with Walter Moorcroft's monogram underglaze signature and cypher. Walter Moorcroft worked at Moorcroft from a young age, and took over after the death of William Moorcoft in 1945. Moorcroft pottery constantly explored different glazes even with their more popular patterns - the flambe is an interesting brown-orange colour. Pre 1960s Moorcroft still shows the fine quality hand painting with subtle shading in the leaves and flowers, and is understandably more popular with Moorcroft collectors. Flambe pieces are much less common than the blue or green background Moorcroft. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some overall crazing. A 9K yellow gold man's pocket knife fully hallmarked London, England 1950. This classy gift or men's accessory measures 3-1/4 x 7/16", it has thick engine-turned gold panels enclosing the two blades and it is fully hallmarked and dated 1950 with an SJR maker's mark (for S.J. This size 4-1/2 or 4.5 yellow gold ring features a tested golden rectangle cut cut sapphire stone of approximately 3.75 carats (estimated from gauge measurement). The gem color is a golden orange or gold orange colour. It weighs 2.7 grams, and it is stamped 10K with slightly obscured maker's marks and the Canadian manufacture mark. A Birks 14k man's 3 diamonds row ring in yellow and white gold circa 1950s. The size is approximately size 14, or may be a little larger, as our ring mandrel (ring sizer bar) doesn't go any higher. This vintage gentleman's diamond band is stamped BIRKS (indistinct), it tests as 14k gold and it has an independent gemologist appraisal for $1000 CAD from 2008. The additional marks may have been lost a sizing, as sometimes happens. The diamonds include: one brilliant cut diamond .22 pt diamond of I-1 clarity and F-G colour, two single cut diamonds of SI-2 tand I-1 clarity, I-J colour 0.05 pt total. The ring weighs 4.8 grams. An Antiko Hildesheimer Rose 800 silver dessert or cake set in a fitted case box from the 1940s or 1950s. This ornate and attractive set was made by Kohlbecker Silberwarenfabrik of Pforzheim, Germany (1946-). Some sources say the "ANTIKO" trade name was used from 1959. This ornate set consists of six 4-3/4" cake forks in 800 silver as well as a matching 8-1/8" silver plated pie or cake lifter marked ANTIKO 90. The brown snakeskin style paper wrapped box has a fitted yellow and brown silk like interior; the lifter doesn't quite fit the support and it may be a replacement.
