This size 5-1/2 or 5.5 ring features a round 1/2 carat (50 point) ruby (medium dark, purplish-red, moderately included, slightly chipped) surrounded by twelve brilliant cut diamonds (26 points total, VS, F-G-H colour) in a flower setting. The leaves have a fine beaded edge. This ring measures 9/16" across the setting, it weighs 3.1 grams and it is stamped BIRKS and 14 K. A Birks Esty Clochette sterling silver & 18k gold set with box. A top quality signed designer 4 pc set by ESTY, made for Birks Canada. It consists of the ring, pierced earrings, link bracelet and the pendant necklace. The ring is size 7-1/4 or 7.25 and it is 5/8" wide. The earrings are 1-3/4" x 5/8", and the bracelet is 7-1/2" long. Yes, one shell hangs one way, and one the other. Not a repair - it was designed that way. The necklace is 16" long and it has a lobster claw clasp and it has a 1-1/4" length pendant.
