A 12K Egyptian rose gold genuine yellow topaz ring. This vintage size 6-1/2 or 6.5 genuine topaz solitaire has gold hallmark for Egypt. The date mark may be for 1943 -1944, but that may vary by city where assayed. The claw-set stone is a rectangular faceted or emerald cut, and is a definite yellow with very slight brown under-tone, and has an excellent clarity. The topaz measures 11.5mm x 9.1mm and has a depth of 7.3mm, so it is slightly over 5 carats in size. The ring weighs 3.2 grams. We also tested the ring, and it appears to be closer to 14K, but is being sold according to its assay mark. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. Condition details are noted, and items have signs of use as expected. A classic elegant sterling silver scalloped or Chippendale edge round serving tray by Birks. This sterling tray measures 14 inches across, it weighs 1,049 grams (approximately 33.67 troy ounces), and it comes with the original blue cloth Birks bag and box. It is stamped BIRKS STERLING 89/9 and it has the year stamp for 1972. A vintage round double link sterling silver charm bracelet with applied textured hearts from the 1970s. This 7-1/8" bracelet is 7/16" wide, it has a stamped STERLING with an H in a triangle maker's mark (for F.A. Hermann, Framingham, Mass. 1908-77), and it has a box clasp with safety loop. It weighs 12.8 grams and it is in fairly good condition with no breaks, losses, repairs, but some of the loops are slightly bent out of alignment. A pair of Gorham 1190 sterling silver convertible 11-1/4" candlesticks with 3 pieces. These weighted candlesticks include the weighted 4-3/4" bases which act as short candlesticks, the 2-7/8" candle holder bell which can mount to the bases or on top of the 4-1/8" conical taper which can also screw into the base. When all pieces are mounted these fine table decorations are 11-1/4" tall. They have the Gorham marks on the bottom and they are probably from the 1950s or 1970s. They are good quality and they are in very good condition with no monograms, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some rim denting to the small upper pieces, a small shallow dent to the conical middle piece on one stick and some spotty clouding from old tarnish on one stick which can be polished or buffed if you want to put in the work to do so. A genuine 3 strand angel coral necklace with a carved coral drop from the 1980s. This wonderful and scarce necklace features three strands of genuine white and orange/pink angel hair coral 5.3 mm. beads and three baroque pearl and two gold bead spacers per strand. We haven't tested the gold but the coral tests as genuine and it is undyed and original in colour. The shortest strand is 28" and the hand carved floral drop measures 1-3/8 x 3/4". The workmanship is very fine and the drop's tiny linking coral beads are as small as 1.7 mm. Before Rolling Stone turned into an irrelevant pile of commercial crap over 40 years ago, it was at the vanguard of the "Underground Press" - a crude newspaper devoted to the counterculture, drugs, music, uncensored political and sexual expression and all things Hippie. Fortunately, being Canadian, the Georgia Straight of Vancouver carried on the anarchistic torch for a few years after RS gave it up, giving us a ribald and unfettered underground newspaper sold in the British Columbia area. From r-rated underground comics (the Fabulous Furry Freak Brothers (FFFB) by Gilbert Shelton, Fat Freddie's Cat, and others) to interviews with counterculture icons, this paper is a window on a long-gone world of late 1960s ideals (it started around the same time as RS in 1967). A custom bighorn sheep ram sterling silver and gold nuggets ring probably from the 1970s-80s. This impressive size 10-3/4 rihg features a highly detailed bighorn sheep flanked with two genuine gold nuggets. This ring measures 3/4" wide and 3/4" from nugget to nugget, it weighs 11.2 grams and it is stamped STER with an M maker's mark. The nuggets test well above our 18k acid and they are probably around 22k. An Italy modernist cubist teal glass large display bottle from the 1970s. Mexican sterling silver heavy link section bangle bracelet circa 1970s 1980. This modernist sculptural 13/16" wide vintage bracelet is a Castillo design and it consists of fully hinged segments with a tall push-button box clasp. It is stamped TC-117 MEXICO 925 and it weighs an substantial 115.3 grams (3.7 ounces). Nicely finished designer quality. It is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. We are not sure if TC-117 was one of the various Castillo studio marks, so unable to attribute it definitely to that firm. It certainly has the weight and stunning quality of a genuine Castillo piece. Each link freely pivots on the hinge and it measures approximately 6-3/4" in length (may be a little longer, the hinges made the tape measure go off a little). The hinges allow it to be round or oval in shape, so the interior measurement is 2" across in the round shape. The widest oval shape is 2-5/8" x 1-5/8". The hinges are just under 1/8" in width, so the measurements were taken from the hinges rather than the interior flat sections. Each link is a maximum 7/16" above the hinge. A Carling Black Label Beer Light Up Bar Clock Sign 1973. This impressive bar advertising sign is made of brown wood-grain style plastic and it has an electric clock and internal light. The clear plastic front cover has a printed card stock graphic insert and the case has an applied gold plated Carling shield. It has the original on/off pull chain and light ballast plug and it has a sticker on the back with details and a FEB 22 '73 stamped manufacturing date. This American made bar sign is the BLACK LABEL ILLUMINATED 25" PRESTIGE CLOCK Item No. 1930 PB. A Napco Japan figural anthropomorphic mustard salt pepper cruet set 1950s 1960s. This decorative and whimsical set consists of the teapot shaped 3 piece mustard pot (lid, spoon and base), the apple or peach shaped salt shaker and the cup or creamer shaped pepper shaker. The two shakers both have their original rubber stoppers (now a bit vitrified and crumbly) and the mustard's spoon is plastic and marked JAPAN. The salt and mustard both have black and silver NAPCO ORIGINALS BY GIFTCRAFT stickers and the mustard has a 2T2851 JAPAN pattern number backstamp.
