A Napco Japan figural anthropomorphic mustard salt pepper cruet set 1950s 1960s. This decorative and whimsical set consists of the teapot shaped 3 piece mustard pot (lid, spoon and base), the apple or peach shaped salt shaker and the cup or creamer shaped pepper shaker. The two shakers both have their original rubber stoppers (now a bit vitrified and crumbly) and the mustard's spoon is plastic and marked JAPAN. The salt and mustard both have black and silver NAPCO ORIGINALS BY GIFTCRAFT stickers and the mustard has a 2T2851 JAPAN pattern number backstamp. This set is in vivid orange and yellow with painted faces and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than some linear craze lines and a glaze flake on the spout of the mustard, a small glaze miss to the lower back of the pepper, a couple of underglaze scrape lines to the salt shaker's forehead and some minor losses to the hardened and chippy stoppers.
