A set of six matching 15/16" nurse's buttons (we think) from a World War I era uniform. Each is made of white metal and all have a black patinated finish - jewellery and metal were blackened so as not to reflect light or shine in the dark to avoid attracting the attention of the low-flying airplanes. The three of them have their retaining cotter pins. A Sevres style hand painted portrait plate from the 19thC signed Amblet. This late 19thC cabinet or display plate is 9-5/8" across and it features fine gilding, a scalloped edge with high relief gilt vines with a pink ground and a beautiful signed free hand painted central portrait of a pretty young woman picking flowers. The plate has the genuine three part Sevres marks, which include the Louis Philippe 1844 mark (this mark actually dates to the late 19th century), the Chateau de Tuileries wreath and the S. 37 in lozenge year date. The portrait is signed F. Amblet, and this fine example of vintage French porcelain is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than a very slight touch of wear to the gold on the ribs where they enter the painted scene. A Sherman green opalescent blue art glass gp necklace from the 1950s. This unusual gold plated 14-7/8" necklace has a snapover clasp and its thirteen links are 9/16" wide. Each has a fine yellow/green art glass insert with copper and gold metal sparkles and the glass has blue irridescent flash. A Siam sterling silver filigree bracelet in the original box from the 1950s. This 7" bracelet measures 7/8" wide across the seven layered filigree domed links, it has a hook and eye clasp and it is stamped STAERLING MADE IN SIAM and it dates to the 1950s or earlier. It weighs 26.3 grams and it is in excellent vintage condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. The original 8-1/8 x 1-1/2" faux lizard paper wrapped box has the original ALEX & CO. retailer's label and plush interior bed. A signed Christopher Dresser Linthorpe pottery plate circa 1880. This superb and rare Linthorpe high relief 8" English pottery plate features a naturalistic branch with leaves with a rustic white/yellow glaze on the front and no glazing on the back. It is stamped LINTHORPE Ch. Dresser HT on the back; Dresser was the designer for this factory c1879-89 and Henry Tooth was the manager prior to 1883, making the date of manufacture 1879-83. This item is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs, with only the slightest touches of wear to the glaze on the highest points (barely noticeable). Please note that there is some minor sticker residue on the back which we haven't removed. A signed Dafri copper ultramodern pin brooch and earrings set from the 1950s. This Toronto Canada company made some great looking items and this is one of them - a very Jetsons kind of anamorphic style. This set includes the 2" across pin with a safety clasp and an applied copper planchet identical to the 1-5/8 x 1" clip-on earrings. Each has some mild black patination and the pin has the DAFRY signature planchet. This set is in very good condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the somewhat clumsily replacement of one earring's clip-on mechanism. A signed Les Baker sterling mother of pearl southwest necklace. This well-made beauty was make by Baker (1935-2014) and it features a mother-of-pearl bezel-set drop with a nice pink lustre.
