A set of six matching 15/16" nurse's buttons (we think) from a World War I era uniform. Each is made of white metal and all have a black patinated finish - jewellery and metal were blackened so as not to reflect light or shine in the dark to avoid attracting the attention of the low-flying airplanes. The three of them have their retaining cotter pins. This set is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor wear to the surface showing a glimpse of the metal underneath the black. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. Surface shipping to the U.S. starts at $6.95 (other spots may vary) - insurance is included. Items paid with a credit card will be shipped to confirmed addresses only. We do ship internationally.
