An elegant Edwardian period baisse-taille white enamel and sterling silver brooch with fine engine turning and gold inlay, circa 1910. This antique 2" across pin was made by Blackinton of North Attleboro, Massachusetts (1862-1967), It was constructed from French baisse-taille enamel on sterling mounted with a pin assembly with a safety catch. The bright gold flowers and wreath inlaid on the brooch set it off beautifully against the engine-turned design under the enamel. It has a pattern number 9707, and it has some solder where the company attached the pin to the enamel gilt-silver disc. The entire back is satin finish and gilt - the solder is original to the manufacture of the brooch, and is not a repair (enamel has to be heated with extreme care after manufacture). It is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. An English sterling silver curb link watch chain with an escutcheon shape medal or award fob. The 14 3/8" length antique watchchain has individual lion passant marks and the watch swivel has the company mark of Henry Williamson Ld (known 1895 - ?). The fob, which appears to be a football award, has the makers mark of William H Haseler and the Birmingham 1915 year mark. The shield in the centre has rse gold and two ornate iniitials, possibly ST. There is one swivel, possibly this was being worn as a unique necklace. It is overall is mostly very good to excellent condition for its age and usage but the swivel loop does show visible wear, and the lion passant marks on the chain appear worn, as is often the case with these sterling chains. This size 7-1/4 late Edwardian-early Art Deco ring features a pleasing circular loop design with a central deep blue round faceted 45 point (calculated) sapphire flanked by two bright and flashy cabochon opals. An Art Deco 18k white gold aquamarine bar pin circa 1920s. This 2-1/4" long pin measures 3/8" across the bezel-set 16mm x 8mm. aquamarine, which weighs 4.7 carats and has a light grayish/greenish blue colour. This pin has applied flowers at the ends of the stone and a pierced lower gallery; it weighs 4.5 grams and it comes with a recent conservative independent appraisal for $1500. An unframed oil on canvas painting depicting a fence and trees on a hillock with a mountain background by Eva Brook Donly (Canada 1867-1941). Born in Simcoe, Ontario, she studied under Frederick M. Bell-Smith at Alma College and the School for Artisans New York under John Ward Stimson. She also studied at the San Carlos Academy in Mexico City under Jose M. Pino. Works by this listed artist (Dictionary of Canadian Artists) are on display at the Eva Brook Donly Museum in Simcoe and in the National Gallery of Canada. This painting measures 20" x 16", and it is unsigned and it was discovered in a storage closet with other paintings. The central drop is 3/4" wide and 3" long, and the loop chain is 15-1/4" (including the replacement sterling silver springring catch). This beauty is unsigned, and the bezel-set stones are in excellent condition (one has an internal air bubble). An Art Deco 14K diamond stick pin circa 1920s. This vintage stickpin has an approximately 7 point genuine round faceted diamond set in the top section which is white gold. The stone weight is estimated in setting, so it may be very slightly larger. The pin section is yellow gold and 2-1/4" in length. The top measures 1/4" across and all tests at 14 k. It weighs 0.8 grs., and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a few nicks on the yellow gold shaft probably from a bulldog guard which is no longer present. The pin is pushed slightly out of alignment.
