An 18k yellow gold double swirl modern design ring. This size 6-1/2 or 6.5 crossover style ring weighs an impressive 8.58 grams. It measures 7/8 x 7/8" across the setting which has deeply grooved shell or swirl like crossover sections (or conchiglie, or shell pasta, if you are so inclined). This is a heavy, substantial ring and it is unmarked, probably because of the addition of two sizing beads which may have obscured the hallmarks. G. Blair Laing Memories Of An Art Dealer 2 vol. set. This complete and mint two volume set is in its original slipcovers and it was published by McClelland and Stewart, Toronto 1982. Each volume measures 10-3/4 x 7-3/4" in their limited clothbound slip cases. Volume 1 has 65 tipped-in colour plates and 264 pages; it is near mint inside and out with only the faintest traces of rubbing on the edges of the book and case and not enough to drop it from a solid MINT rating. Volume 2 has 77 plates and 213 pages and it is near mint with very slight rubs and some minor dents on the back of the slipcase. A superb and scarce set in superb condition. This set is in excellent condition as described above. A pair of Lucknow solid silver sweetmeat or bonbon bowls from the Indian Raj period circa 1880 1890. These superbly detailed antique high grade silver 4-7/8" x 4" bowls have a graceful fluted rim. They feature gilt interiors and fine hammered wildlife scenes around the exterior depicting panthers, elephants, birds, dogs, rabbits and others, all with a backdrop of palm trees and tropical foliage. The design is a classic Lucknow silver design of this period, and interior gilding was seen more commonly then also. They have a large hand-tooled peacock figure on the bottom of each bowl, (which is most likely the silversmith's mark), and they test as very high grade silver. These bowls weigh 174 grams in total, and they are in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a tiny notch on the upper edge of one bowl from the testing of the silver content. A Peru(?) 18k yellow gold and silver Incan gods necklace. This 20-3/4" long (extended) 925 silver and 18k yellow gold necklace, probably Peruvian, depicts what appear to be Incan gods. It consists of 9 hand-hammered and cut segments ranging in size from 1-3/8 x 7/8" to 2-1/2 x 2". Each has an applied silver-backed skin of 18k gold in the form of Inca gods.
