An early Art Deco 14k white and yellow gold watch chain with slip knot shape long links circa 1920. This vintage 15-1/4" long watchchain is unusual, each link has a slip-knot in the center. The links alternate between white and yellow gold. The spring-ring is a replacement, as unlike the rest of the chain which is 14k, it is 10k. The chain is stamped 585 (14K) on the loop near the swivel. The swivel is a moveable one, with s what appears to be an anchor. (tested for gold content, as it is otherwise unmarked). The watchchain weighs approximately 12.7 grams; it can be worn as a necklace or doubled for a bracelet, and it is in excellent vintage condition with no breaks, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs with the likely exception of the likely replacement of the spring-ring. An elegant Edwardian period baisse-taille white enamel and sterling silver brooch with fine engine turning and gold inlay, circa 1910. This antique 2" across pin was made by Blackinton of North Attleboro, Massachusetts (1862-1967), It was constructed from French baisse-taille enamel on sterling mounted with a pin assembly with a safety catch. The bright gold flowers and wreath inlaid on the brooch set it off beautifully against the engine-turned design under the enamel. It has a pattern number 9707, and it has some solder where the company attached the pin to the enamel gilt-silver disc. The entire back is satin finish and gilt - the solder is original to the manufacture of the brooch, and is not a repair (enamel has to be heated with extreme care after manufacture). It is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. This 5-1/4 x 1" brass and cut French Jet (black glass) watch fob has a swivel and it is complete with a later commemorative oval 1-3/4" x 1-1/4" pressed steel medallion depicting Lord Kitchener. The medal has a high relief portrait of Kitchener (1850-1916) with the legends FEARLESS NOBLE BRAVE AND TRUE and BRITAIN'S NOBLE SON. A scarce World War I era 60" patinated metal and purple cut glass fan or watch chain circa 1915. Unsigned but possibly English, it was common for jewelry at this time to be blackened or patinated so as to avoid flashing and glinting, which could have been seen by the enemy fliers at night. World War I planes were smaller and flew lower, so moonlight reflecting on jewelry allowed people to be seen. The patination made it possible to wear jewelry that was not visible at night, so this style of jewelry became popular until 1918. This watchchain necklace has a large spring-ring catch and swivel, and the chain has oblong loops. A Victorian hand engraved sterling silver bangle with a double loop clasp. It features fine hand engraving on the shoulders beside the clasp which consists of a double loop in a hook and eye style. It has a fine safety chain anchored to a loop and it measures 2-3/8 x 1-7/8" across the interior and 5/16" wide. The chain has no second loop and it was probably soldered to the other loop as a retaining chain to the underside (where there is some solder) but it is now loose. This bangle is unmarked but tested and it weighs 12.2 grams. It is in very good condition with no dents, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the detachment of the chain and a small flattened area at the end of the engraving on one side. A Victorian gold filled photo locket on a fancy rolled gold plate chain necklace from the 1870s 1880s. This necklace is unusual in that it is gold filled and not the typical sterling silver and it features yellow gold plate and a strip of fancy bordered rose gold plate setting off the design. It has a subtle matte finish and the rose gold is glossy and it opens up to show two (very faded) baby photos which both have annotations with names and the date 1900 as well as the paper lining, original glass windows and both bezels. The locket measures 2-1/4 x 1" (including bale) and it comes on a fancy 19" long and 5/16" wide rolled gold plated chain which has a springring clasp and a safety chain. The back of the locket is undecorated and this beauty is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a small shallow dent on the back of the locket.
