This Norwegian abstract double leaf is marked 925 S with the Einar Modahl maker's mark and an N in a square and STERLING NORWAY. This vintage 38-3/4" necklace has 128 cultured pearls ranging from 7 to 5.5 mm in size. the gold beads consist of one 6.5 mm, two at 4.5 mm and two at 4 mm. This set consists of the 1-1/4" across brooch with a safety catch and the 17-3/4" lavaliere type necklace with a satin finish clasp (the clasp is the same design as used for pearl necklaces). Each piece has cobalt enamelled flower petals with central genuine claw-set rubies, and there are a few random spots with a soft pink enamel around the leaves. The 1" x 1-3/8" pendant has an enamelled drop with a 5.2 mm genuine cultured pearl. A 10k yellow spinel gold ring from the 1950s. This vintage size 7-3/4 or 7.75 yellow gold ring features a claw-set faceted 5/16" x 1/4" across pale yellow spinel. The spinel is an emerald cut gem stone and this ring weighs 2.4 grams. One of the claws comes up above the ring in a lined curl, sort of in an abstract modernist wave design, a bit of an unusual assymetrical look. It is stamped 10 K and MIL and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. The gem looks a little cloudy, but that is surface grime, it is very clear in real life. A cultured pearls sterling silver leaf pin or brooch from the 1930s-50s era. This 1-5/8 x 1" pin has fine hand engraving on the leaves and the genuine cultured pearls are superbly matched. They have a deep and smooth pinkish creamy luster and they average 5 mm. each. This pin has a safety clasp, it weighs 4.7 grams, it is stamped STERLING with a double facing R maker's mark and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. A striking vintage Mexican sterling pendant set with a mixture of inlaid lapis and malachite, with a large cabochon cut tiger eye gem in the centre c1950-60. Two of the dangling pendants are also inlaid with lapis and malachite, and the centre dangle is solid silver. The pendant alone measures 3-3/4" x 2-1/8", and weighs 26.2 grams. It is stamped STERLING 925 with the eagle mark with a 2 in the centre, and the initials MR. There was a silversmith named Melecio Rodriguez who worked at the Rancho Alegre and for Margot de Taxco, but I can't verify if this is his work or not. It comes with a 18-1/2" sterling heavy link chain (weighs 16.7 grams, not Mexican manufacture). It is in very good condition, but please note than there is 1/8" piece missing from the second inlaid drop of the pendant. Otherwise it is in lovely condition, no breaks, wear, repairs or damage.
