A striking vintage Mexican sterling pendant set with a mixture of inlaid lapis and malachite, with a large cabochon cut tiger eye gem in the centre c1950-60. Two of the dangling pendants are also inlaid with lapis and malachite, and the centre dangle is solid silver. The pendant alone measures 3-3/4" x 2-1/8", and weighs 26.2 grams. It is stamped STERLING 925 with the eagle mark with a 2 in the centre, and the initials MR. There was a silversmith named Melecio Rodriguez who worked at the Rancho Alegre and for Margot de Taxco, but I can't verify if this is his work or not. An ornate 9k yellow gold custom made man's black onyx signet ring probably from the 1940s. This size 11 beauty has a rectangular bezel set black onyx stone in a 11/16 x 5/8" setting. The shoulders are beautifully sculpted and engraved with a floral motif. It is stamped only 9C, it weighs 7.6 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than signs of an earlier resizing.
