A 5-5/8" long sterling silver honey serving spoon and 4-1/8" sugar tongs in the Tudor Scroll flatware pattern, introduced by Birks in 1919 - it had been out of production for some time. The honey spoon has a narrow flattened rim unlike the similarly shaped sugar shell and both items are in very good condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some tiny denting to the back of the spoon and a W monogram on each piece. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. This is an assortment of sterling silver flatware pieces in the Kings pattern, all hallmarked for Edinburgh, Scotland. All items are currently in stock unless marked SOLD, and all are in excellent condition with no losses, dents, corrosion, repairs or damage unless noted. All of our items are used and they may have slight signs of gentle use. Multiples of some pieces may be available - please ask for available quantities. Shipping is at cost, based on weight and total, through Canada post or Fedex. We do ship internationally. All of our prices are in $US. The pieces include:
-8" in length and 1 1/16" at the widest dinner forks. They are by the same maker, and are the same pattern from the same set, but one has a different year stamp. Two of the forks are hallmarked Edinburgh 1857-58, and four are hallmarked Edinburgh 1881-2. They are all the same size (8" in length and 1 1/16" at the widest), they average 75 grams each, and all have what appears to be a beaver rampant crest. The maker is the same - RG - who may possibly be either R. Green or R. Grierson of Edinburgh. They are all in excellent condition with no worn spots, pitting or damage, & none have been initialled. They show only very minor & expected surface scratches that come from ordinary use, and all are in excellent condition for their age. - $125 ea
-7" in length and 1 1/2" at the widest dessert or soup spoons. They are by the same maker, and are the same pattern from the same set, but two have a different year stamp. Four of the spoons are hallmarked Edinburgh 1857-58, and one is hallmarked Edinburgh 1855-56 (the earlier spoon is 1/16" shorter in length). All have what appears to be a beaver rampant crest and they average 37 grams each. The maker is the same - RG - who may possibly be either R. Green or R. Grierson of Edinburgh. They are all in excellent condition with no worn spots, pitting or damage, & none have been initialled. They show only very minor & expected surface scratches that come from ordinary use, and all are in exceptional shape for their age. - $79 each
-6 1/2" in length and 15/16" at the widest dessert or fruit forks. They are by the same maker, and are the same pattern from the same set, but three have a different year stamp. Four of the forks are hallmarked Edinburgh 1855-56, and three are hallmarked Edinburgh 1881-2. All have what appears to be a beaver rampant crest and they average 38 grams each.
