An Edwardian platinum emerald and diamonds ring circa 1910. This antique size 6-1/2 or 6.5 ring features a central medium-green genuine emerald with 4 genuine diamonds on each side of the emerald, a total of 8 diamonds. The diamonds are eight single cut diamonds starting at VS-1 clarity and G/H colour (several diamonds are chipped). This ring weighs 2.4 grams and it is marked 900 PLAT 100 IR'D. indicating a 90 per cent platinum and 10 per cent iridium precious metal content. It has an attractive slightly ornate design with some delicate engraved work on each side. It is in the described condition with no other cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than mentioned. The emerald is a recent replacement for the previous stone. A Victorian gold filled double slide expanding gentleman's watch fob chain. This 9-1/4" (maximum) chain shrinks to 6-1/8" when the two engraved slides are separated (which contracts the chain forming a double chain between them, shown partly drawn in our second image). It has a t-bar and a swivel as well as two textured balls which act as stops for the slides. It is stamped W.LH.&Co. on the swivel and it is a neat bit of Victorian ingenuity. An antique 9K men's signet ring with a photo locket top. This Victorian gentleman's size 8-1/2 or size 8.5 ring features a 5/8" x 1/2" upper section fashioned from an actual Victorian hinged photo locket which has been soldered shut and engraved with an ornate Gothic GWS monogram. It has Birmingham, England hallmarks for 1864 (no Queen's head). This ring bears an inscription on the interior under the top section of WITH FONDEST LOVE LIZZIE. It weighs 6.7 grams. We have not attempted to break the solder and open it. A distinctly different unusual love token item of jewellery. A Vict. gp & mop fancy spring extendable watch chain. This truly unusual 12" spring-loaded expanding Victorian gold plated over brass watch chain has with mother of pearl sections. This 1/2" wide chain features engraved round links with pierced loops, round thick plain loops and designed flattened patterned loops; it also has two spring-loaded segments with mother-of-pearl inserted sections. Each spring segment has engraving and finely made pivots and channels for the expansion spring; one has what appears to be either an old repair or for some other purpose, possibly a hanging component. It has one original swivel and one that has been added later; it has no identifying marks of any kind. We haven't seen a chain of this style before, and we've seen hundreds. An excellent curiosity. An ornate Victorian rolled gold plate Aesthetic clamper bangle bracelet from the 1880s. This attractive bangle measures 2-3/8" along the decorated front and it is 13/16" wide. It is unsigned and it has both rose and yellow gold components which was typical of the time. The bracelet itself is very heavily gold plated and the spring is strong and the bracelet expands smoothly (it measures 2-3/16 x 1-7/8" at rest).
