A 10k yellow gold Edwardian blue topaz ring circa 1900 1910. This size 5-1/2 or 5.5 ring has a ornate engraved design and it has 4 claw-set genuine blue topazes. The setting measures 9/16 x 11/16". It is stamped 10K with the Canadian gold mark (a crown in the letter C) and the Eaton's E in a diamond retail mark. The four light blue gem stones are all claw-set. It weighs 2.1 grams and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the retipping of the stones' claws. A pair of (typically) unmarked Majestic Japanned wood and brass table lamps c1950s. The black painted wood includes the 7 x 4-1/2" base with a crescent moon mounted on the brass upright with a brass ball separating it from the base. They stand 17-1/2" tall including the 12 x 6-1/2" shades, which are of fiberglass with plastic stringing on the borders and a wire cage for mounting on the lightbulb. They have their original cords with Leviton sockets with inspection stickers, and both lamps work. This pair of fine Retro decorative lamps is in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor loss to the gold-plated finish over the brass and one small touched-up chip on the tip of one crescent. The rest of the black paint is intact with only tiny flakes and one scratch with the paint mostly intact. A fine quality late 18th century copper plate etching by Francesco Londonio (1723-1783) of Milan, Italy. This Georgian period etching is from the Costumes Pastoris (Pastoral Customs or more commonly, Pastoral Scenes ) series. Image size (taken from the plate indentation lines) is 36 cm. x 27 cm. (14-1/4" x 11"). This series was produced for Consigliere Mellerio. This item is in the collection of the National Digital Library in Portugal, and a collection of Londonio's etchings resides at the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco (F.A.M.S.F.), amongst others, and there are some etchings from this specific series in the F.A.M.S.F. collection. The F.A.M.S.F. dates this series to the 18th century. It has an 8 in the lower right corner, indicating that this is plate 8 in the series. It is housed in a later 19th century black finished wood frame measuring 21-5/8" x 18-1/2", and it is in very good original condition with no cracks, tears, repairs, losses, damage or repairs other than some very fine overall speckled foxing and a central crease. A pair of 19thC Japanese Meiji blue and white porcelain covered bowls. This fine pair consists of the 4-3/4" diameter footed bowls and their 5-1/4" covers with a rimmed foot or receptacle on the top. The covers can be placed on the rim to act as side dishes to the bowls. The hand painted blue and white design includes dragons, panels and scenes and each has hand painted gold highlights. This attractive size 7 ring features a central 3/8 x 1/4" natural opal with vivid green fire, two flanking 1/8" opals with green and orange fire and 10 emeralds. A 10k white & yellow gold heart photo locket and chain. This unusual 3/4" wide heart shaped photo locket pendant comes complete with a 14k fine link chain. The locket is unusual in that it is white gold on one side and yellow gold on the other. Each side is divided with both glossy and matte finish areas and engraved stars. It opens to reveal a place for photos and it has one retaining bezel. The 19-1/4" fine rope style white gold chain has a springring clasp and it is stamped STOR 14K while the locket pendant is stamped PPC 10K inside the bale. The chain has an added 2-1/2" extender with two loops and it weighs 1.0 grams; the locket weighs 2.8 grams. This scarce set includes the 11-1/4" cocktail shaker with lid and spout cap, five 5" footed goblets with gilt bowls, and the 22-3/4 x 13-3/4" two-handled tray with fine engraving. Each piece is stamped OLD ENGLISH REPRODUCTION SILVER PLATE ON COPPER B.M.MTS along with the item number, except for the tray which has LEAD MTS. and WM. A. ROGERS as well. Each piece features high relief grape and vine decoration, and all pieces are unmonogrammed. An outstanding Art Deco sterling silver enamel and marcasites pendant necklace circa 1930. The pendant itslf measures 2" x 1" (including enamelled bale loop). It features colorful matte enamel in of geometric flowers in lilac, yellow, orange, lime green, blue and black with various sizes of marquisites. Please note that the colors may appear several shades brighter in our pictures than they are in real life, and the blue is a light royal blue, not turquoise. It is stamped EN in a kidney-shaped cartouche and STERLING on the back - we are still researching the maker. it weighs 7.5 grams (pendant only). We were unable to find any corresponding information about this mark, at first glance it looks very much like a piece produced by the Theodor Farhner firm, who were well known for such fine matte enamel finishes and the extensive use of marquisites. It is shown with a very recent sterling silver chain which is not included. This item is in good condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion or repairs other than a visible loss to the red-orange enamel and a couple of very short surface abrasions to the blue (just visible with a loupe). An English hand painted Gaudy Welsh tea set by Allerton's, consisting of the 6" high teapot (including finial), the 5" tall large covered sugar bowl, the 4-3/4" tall milk or cream jug, four 2-1/2" tall cups and four 5-7/8" fitted saucers. Including the lids there are 13 pieces and each is handpainted with cobalt, orange, green and copper lustre. the shape and decoration are undoubtedly those of Allertons however the saucers are marked with what appear to be impressed date stamps (from 1928-29). The sugar and teapot have a 30 mark - it was illegal to sell unmarked china after 1891 so this set would appear to predate that year due to the lack of markings. Or not. This set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs except crazing to the creamer, sugar, one saucer and one cup. A rare, early English flow blue covered entree or casserole dish c1860. This serving piece stands 7" high with the lid, and it measures 11-1/4" x 10-1/2". It has a floral style motif, and it has a pseudo Chinese mark, minor variants of which were used by Charles Meigh (1835-49), Charles Meigh & Son (1851-61) and also Job Meigh (c1805-34), all of Hanley, Staffordshire; we feel it dates c1850-60 but it could be of earlier manufacture. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, losses, damage or repairs other than a tight 2-1/2" hairline crack on the lid and some scattered craze lines on the top and bottom. An Art Deco Lightolier luster Czech glass shade ceiling lamp from the 1920s. This scarce beauty has a paneled Czechoslovakian pale yellow lustre glass shade with floral screened designs in blue, yellow and orange. The shade is stamped LIGHTOLIER and it measures 8-1/8" across the open bottom and 9-1/4" in total across. The top opening is 6-3/4" and this lamp retains its original cream-painted metal mount with three metal spokes with finger screws. The socket assembly is gilded and this lamp has the original chain, mounting nut and central threaded core; it has been recently rewired and it works and shows beautifully. Lightolier was the brand name for lamps made by Bernhard Blitzer Gas and Appliance Co. of Brooklyn, New York who started out in the 1800s before changing to Lightolier early in the century. This classy addition to your home decor is in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than a few very small shallow flakes to the unfinished edge of the shade's inside top rim from mounting to the bracket.
