This rustic 7-3/4" salad size plate is from a series of plates made for the Canadian market depicting various scenes. It was made by the Brittania Pottery in Glasgow, Scotland for Francis T. Thomas of Quebec c1880 as part of a commissioned series of Quebec scenes. It has a view of the Quebec City monument, text in two languages and a border of leaves and beavers. A 14k white gold man's diamond with black onyx bullseye ring by Birks from the late 1930s 1950. This vintage size 7 men's ring by Birks Canada has a central 21 point genuine diamond which has a round black onyx stone bezel set around the centre stone. It is stamped BIRKS and 14 K and another mark. The whole ring is white gold, and was custom made at Birks. The ring comes with an independent gemologist's appraisal for $2000CAN. The diamond measures 21 points (measured in setting) and is SI-1 clarity and I-J colour. There are two quite minutes chips at the bezel, visible only with a loupe, and this was mentioned in the appraisal of $2000 CAD. The ring measures 5/16" across the top and it weighs a substantial 6.7 grams; it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. It was photographed before being cleaned, so there are vestiges of surface grime visible in our photos.

A 14k white gold genuine ruby and diamonds ring circa 1940s. This elegant vintage size 6-1/4 or 6.25 quatrefoil shape ring features a central 42 point natural oval ruby of medium dark purplish red colour with light inclusions, surrounded by two brilliant and 24 single cut diamonds (total 26 points, SI, G-H colour). The ring is a style which looks lovely on a hand. The jewel part of the ring measures 13/16" long and x 1/2" wide across the finger. It is marked 14 K and has a maker's mark of TJF or TIF (mark worn), and it weighs 4.1 grams. Thoughtful 75th or ruby anniversary or July or April birthday. A Napco Japan figural anthropomorphic mustard salt pepper cruet set 1950s 1960s. This decorative and whimsical set consists of the teapot shaped 3 piece mustard pot (lid, spoon and base), the apple or peach shaped salt shaker and the cup or creamer shaped pepper shaker. The two shakers both have their original rubber stoppers (now a bit vitrified and crumbly) and the mustard's spoon is plastic and marked JAPAN. A 10K white gold black Alaskan diamond ring circa 1960 1970. This vintage statement ring is just under 6-3/4 or 6.75 in size and measures just under 1" in length on the finger, with a marquise cut black Alaskan diamond stone (related to silver pyrite, black Alaskan diamond is a trade name for the stone). These rings were popular from the 1950s into the 1970s. It is marked 10 K with a manufacturer's mark. It weighs 4.4 grams. It is in mostly excellent condition, except that the ring has a very slight tilt from finger shape and there is a small wiggle to the stone. This is readily fixable at any jewelers, and we have made allowance in the price for you to have this attended to. The stone has a few minute surface lines, which appear greatly enhanced in our photos, but not noticeable in real life. We seldom see this style of ring in white gold.
