A Rogers Intl Remembrance silver plated large water pitcher. This "Go-With" silver plated serving piece is from the International 1847 Rogers Remembrance flatware pattern. Along with the flatware, many patterns had serving pieces available which were all expensive and seldom purchased; they included tea sets, pitchers, trays, etc. This is the 10" tall water pitcher which is stamped REMEMBRANCE 1847 ROGERS BROS. EPB 9817 IS; it is in good condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the loss of some of the interior silver plating (see picture). A Shelley Rosebud 13426 trio with the cup, saucer and salad plate. This fine English bone china porcelain trio is in the dainty shape and the cup is 2-1/2" high, the saucer is 5-7/8" across and the plate is 8-1/8". This trio is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs. the glaze appears a bit thick on the saucer giving it a very slight yellowish tinge. A Royal Crown Derby Vine Posie Center 15-1/8" serving platter. In the A929 pattern produced by RCD from 1965-74, this 15-1/8 x 12-1/2" platter is lushly decorated in gold with a hand painted over transfer floral arrangement in the center. A vintage hand painted wartime (disarmed) 17-1/2" mortar bomb with the stamped identification SSE 42 1-1/2 LBT. It has caged fins for stability and it has a an eyehook from which it was suspended from wire for display. It is painted in white, black, red and white and it has the legend "The Brig" in script. We're not sure of the country or age other than it appears vintage. It is in very good condition with no major corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than the expected minor scuffs and scrapes. The Kidds Southern Ontario garage band photo circa 1965. This professionally photographed and framed portrait of the mid-1960s garage/psych band The Kidds, who recorded one 45 rpm single record ("Children in Love") for Nestor Records, was purchased at a local auction in St. Catharines, Ontario (near Niagara Falls), the hometown of the band and many others of the era. The 14-1/2 x 11-1/2" photo is matted in a 20-3/4 x 16-3/4" black painted wood frame and it is initialed on the lower right by the photographer. It is high quality and genuine, and most likely unpublished. There is a documentary on Niagara area bands which features the Kidds, and using that and the invaluable help of the kind people at the Garage Hangover internet site we have a positive identification of the band. Interestingly this photo is NOT shown in the documentary although lots of other items are featured (search for Miil for The Big Story of Small Potatoes documentary). A search will bring you to the full documentary. A must for the garage band archivist, or the band member who doesn't have a copy. A 5-5/8" long sterling silver honey serving spoon and 4-1/8" sugar tongs in the Tudor Scroll flatware pattern, introduced by Birks in 1919 - it had been out of production for some time. A Sadler 3 Pc. tea set in the 2761 F design of golden with white flowers circa 1950. This English ceramic set includes the 9" across the spout and handle lidded teapot, the 3-3/4" tall creamer and the lidded 6-1/2" across the handles large sugar bowl. Each piece has a swirled design with all over gold glaze with white floral highlights. Each piece has the impressed Sadler mark used from the 1930s to the 1950s. is stamped SADLER ENGLAND with a 2761 F pattern number in gold. This set shows minimal if any signs of use and unusually the gold is intact and unworn.
