A Napco Japan figural anthropomorphic mustard salt pepper cruet set 1950s 1960s. This decorative and whimsical set consists of the teapot shaped 3 piece mustard pot (lid, spoon and base), the apple or peach shaped salt shaker and the cup or creamer shaped pepper shaker. The two shakers both have their original rubber stoppers (now a bit vitrified and crumbly) and the mustard's spoon is plastic and marked JAPAN. The salt and mustard both have black and silver NAPCO ORIGINALS BY GIFTCRAFT stickers and the mustard has a 2T2851 JAPAN pattern number backstamp. This set is in vivid orange and yellow with painted faces and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than some linear craze lines and a glaze flake on the spout of the mustard, a small glaze miss to the lower back of the pepper, a couple of underglaze scrape lines to the salt shaker's forehead and some minor losses to the hardened and chippy stoppers. All condition issues are noted. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. A Hazel-Atlas green Depression glass refrigerator storage jar with lid from the 1930s. This 5-7/8" across round jar has a ground (or fritted) handle or knob, a starburst molded pattern on the lid and it has the H over A maker's mark on the bottom. It would look great on your shelf or hoosier and it is a nice display piece. It is in very good condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than a few small chips to the inner lid support rim of the base. A Chisolm Model C1 flip down toaster from the 1930s. This scarce and unusual chrome plated and wood two sided flip down electric toaster is by W.C. Chisholm Mfg. Co. of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. This toaster has wooden handles and painted wooden sides on the base; it also has heavy springs keeping the doors shut. The heat wire wrapped mica plates are intact as is the cloth-wrapped original cord. It has a detachable top with a wood handle (possibly for keeping toast warm). It works just fine with lots and lots of heat, and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor paint loss to the base wood. We have lightly cleaned it however it still has some grime and stains, all of which can be polished out if you want to spend the time. A bright and cheerful 1920s Japan peach lustre four piece cruet or condiment stand. In the form of stylized lotus flowers, this stand consists of the lidded mustard pot with frog finial, the salt and the pepper shakers all on the fitted 5-1/2" x 4-3/4" handled stand. It is unsigned, and it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of slight rubbing to the base lustre from the bottom of the shakers and some flaking to the black on the handle. An early 1960s pair of Lefton Miss Dainty salt and pepper shakers in the form of yellow-haired girls in white and red checkered hats. They are sometimes referred to as cutie pie shakers. These 3" high matching shakers are marked JAPAN 7028 on the bottom and they are in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some long craze lines on each shaker and the cork on one has fallen into the interior.
