A 10k yellow gold man's opal ring from the 1940s. This size 9-1/2 ring features a natural rectangular opal with lots of green flash with an underlying orange fire. This ring measures 5/8 x 3/4" across the setting, it weighs 5.1 grams and it is stamped 10K with the maker's mark for I.B. Goodman Manufacturing Co., Inc. of Newport, Kentucky (1937-). It measures 1 x 5/8" across the cluster of pearls which have deep lustre and shine. One pearl is distinctly pink and four others have pinkish colouration; the rest are a fine creamy white. A 10k yellow gold and deep purple & blue synthetic alexandrite stone pendant necklace circa 1960. This vintage 1" x 3/4" (sans bale) pendant comes with a 10k yellow gold pendant box link chain. This pendant has a stippled finish and the 16-1/2" box chain has a spring-ring clasp. Each piece is stamped 10K, this necklace weighs 6.3 grams, and the stone's intense purple with blue colour turns blue in outdoor lighting. These vintage simulated alexandrites are usually corundum laced with vanadium to produce the color change under different types of lighting, or a treated colourless chrysoberyl. A 10k opal and garnets ring from the 1950s. This great looking vintage 1950s 10k yellow gold size 6-1/4 ring features a colourful natural opal flanked by two garnets. This ring features a claw-set 11mm x 9 mm. natural opal which measures 3 mm. deep; the Bohemian garnets are also genuine stones and are a wonderful deep red.
