A gold plated saphiret tassels necklace from the 1930s. This superb and vintage (unsigned) gold plated brass necklace has large dramatic tassels with saphiret (or sapphiret) glass stones. This 15-1/2" gold plated brass necklace has a spring-ring clasp and it has five graduated chain and bell tassels suspended from it. The largest tassel measures 3-1/2" long and 1" across the bell; each individual tassel chain ends in a sapphiret glass stone. The farthest left and right tassels have 9 suspended chains and stones, the 2nd and 4th tassel have 11 chains and suspended stones, and the center tassel has 18 chains and suspended stones. There is also a sapphiret at the top of each tassel canopy. An Art Deco coral celluloid & brass flapper necklace from the 1920s. This original genuine 30-1/2" necklace features a further 4-1/4" central drop with a large 2" x 7/8" celluloid drop. The coral coloured tube beads are linked by brass chains and each celluloid link has brass caps. An Art Deco period Czechoslovakian molded green Peking glass necklace circa 1920s. This is a brass and molded floral design 17 inch long necklace with a central 1-1/4" x 1" drop with a jade green coloured molded glass floral design. The brass links are ornate and they have green glass balls on this collectible example of Czech jewellery. It has a spring-ring clasp, it is stamped CZECHOSLOV on the jump ring. Our picture has flattened the appearance of lovely floral centre drop a bit, it is actually in fairly high relief. An Art Deco bakelite and celluloid snake upper arm bracelet circa 1920s. This genuine period survivor measures 3" x 2-7/8" across the interior and the snake's heads are 5/16" across and both have cobalt blue glass rhinestone eyes. The body is black celluloid with an applied clear yellow layer over a bed of embedded sparkly metallic confetti. This Egyptian style figural bracelet is in mostly excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some groove striations/lines of the yellow section from the black and the usual fine patina of scratches from use, There are a couple of superficial stress cracks in the yellow section as well. A scarce World War I era 60" patinated metal and purple cut glass fan or watch chain circa 1915. Unsigned but possibly English, it was common for jewelry at this time to be blackened or patinated so as to avoid flashing and glinting, which could have been seen by the enemy fliers at night. World War I planes were smaller and flew lower, so moonlight reflecting on jewelry allowed people to be seen. The patination made it possible to wear jewelry that was not visible at night, so this style of jewelry became popular until 1918. This watchchain necklace has a large spring-ring catch and swivel, and the chain has oblong loops. A truly unusual late Victorian rolled gold plate swing-open photo or hair locket brooch c1900. This 1-3/8" diameter pin features a twist border and a bevelled glass window; it has a c-clasp and the back is hinged, opening to reveal a bezel holding the glass. It currently holds a photo but could easily hold hair or other mementos. The back has a primitive snap, and it is stamped PAT.
