A Victorian Scottish banded agate brooch pin from the 1860-80 era. This attractive antique round pin measures 1-3/4" across and it has a central hole. it is in white metal and has the original c-clasp. The Victorian were fascinated with the natural world, and specimen agates were popular set into tables and boxes, and of course jewellery. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a few small natural internal cleaves and striations. All items are thoroughly and conservatively graded and all condition issues are noted; all items are vintage or antique and may have slight signs of gentle use. Tracked Packet shipping to anywhere in the U.S. is $13.50 - this includes online tracking, air service and insurance up to $70.
