A hand engraved rose gold filled large photo locket from the 1880s. This ornate 1-7/8 x 1-3/8" locket has a 5/8" bale and each side has different decoration. This fine late Victorian 1-1/4" across locket features wonderful Nouveau tendrils and poppies along with the original white paste rhinestones. The back side is plain and it has never been monogrammed or inscribed and the interior is stamped F&B (for Foster & Bailey, Providence, Rhode Island 1898-1951). A 14k sapphire doublet and seed pearls pierced drop earrings circa 1890. They are unmarked but have been tested. These antique yellow gold feature 20 point claw-set sapphire doublets (man made synthetic stones) surrounded by genuine seed pearls; the hoops are the hinged back design and they have a tab and slot style catch. A Vict. gp & mop fancy spring extendable watch chain. This truly unusual 12" spring-loaded expanding Victorian gold plated over brass watch chain has with mother of pearl sections. This 1/2" wide chain features engraved round links with pierced loops, round thick plain loops and designed flattened patterned loops; it also has two spring-loaded segments with mother-of-pearl inserted sections. Each spring segment has engraving and finely made pivots and channels for the expansion spring; one has what appears to be either an old repair or for some other purpose, possibly a hanging component. It has one original swivel and one that has been added later; it has no identifying marks of any kind. We haven't seen a chain of this style before, and we've seen hundreds. An excellent curiosity. This item is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, corrosion, damage or repairs other than some bending and the loss of one wire to the grooved links, some minor wear to the gold plating, the addition of one swivel and the possible alteration to one spring segment. A pair of Victorian 12k yellow gold pierced swinging earrings circa 1880 1890. These stunning antique 1-1/2" x 7/8" (including ear wire) earrings feature a finely detailed ring which swings back and forth across the faceted interior gold ball. They are not stamped, but test as at least 12k gold. 12k was used as part of the United Kingdom gold standard from the 19th century until 1932. An ornate Victorian rolled gold plate Aesthetic clamper bangle bracelet from the 1880s. This attractive bangle measures 2-3/8" along the decorated front and it is 13/16" wide. It is unsigned and it has both rose and yellow gold components which was typical of the time. The bracelet itself is very heavily gold plated and the spring is strong and the bracelet expands smoothly (it measures 2-3/16 x 1-7/8" at rest). It is in very good condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the possible replacement of the larger ball at the center. There is gold plate wear to this ball and to a smaller one as well.
