An Italian mosaic floral bracelet from the 1940s-50s. This pretty vintage 8-3/8" bracelet has four identical 1-1/8 x 7/8" filigree-edged panels interspersed with 1/2" circular segments. It is in a silver plated metal, it has a box clasp and a safety chain. An Italian mosaic pin brooch and screw back earrings from the 1930s-40s. This attractive set features multicoloured roses and flowers on a turquoise ground. The glass tesserae are quite fine and they are set in filigree wirework gold plated brass. The pin measures 2 x 1-3/8" and the screwback earrings are 3/4 x 5/8". An ornate Art Nouveau gold filled photo locket on chain necklace with maiden circa 1900. This late Victorian 1-13/16" diameter locket has high relief decoration including a maiden and a poppy flowers border. The back has an ornate AJM monogram and the interior has two photo retaining bezels and one celluloid window. A pair of Schoffel gold and hematite rhinestone earrings circa 1950-60. This cool vintage pair of gold plated rhinestone earrings is by Schoffel & Co. of Austria. These clip-on 1-1/4" x 7/8" earrings have claw-set rhinestones in a hematite or silver colour and gold nugget colour (the hematite colour stones are round and the gold colour ones are marquise shaped). A signed Sherman curved 3 colour rhinestones aurora borealis bracelet from the 1950s. Bracelets with a curved semicircular profile are scarce and this example flashes brilliantly. It measures 7-1/4 x 5/8", the stones are all claw set and it closes with a box clasp. The stones range from light brown marquise shaped stones to deep yellow round with a multitude of pink aurora borealis stones. It is gold plated, it is stamped SHERMAN on the clasp and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the replacement of two small AB rhinestones which are more blue than the original pink stones. A Vict. gp & mop fancy spring extendable watch chain. This truly unusual 12" spring-loaded expanding Victorian gold plated over brass watch chain has with mother of pearl sections. This 1/2" wide chain features engraved round links with pierced loops, round thick plain loops and designed flattened patterned loops; it also has two spring-loaded segments with mother-of-pearl inserted sections. Each spring segment has engraving and finely made pivots and channels for the expansion spring; one has what appears to be either an old repair or for some other purpose, possibly a hanging component. It has one original swivel and one that has been added later; it has no identifying marks of any kind. We haven't seen a chain of this style before, and we've seen hundreds. An excellent curiosity. This 9-1/4" (maximum) chain shrinks to 6-1/8" when the two engraved slides are separated (which contracts the chain forming a double chain between them, shown partly drawn in our second image). It has a t-bar and a swivel as well as two textured balls which act as stops for the slides. It is stamped W.LH.&Co. on the swivel and it is a neat bit of Victorian ingenuity.
