A set of 6 David Andersen Norway enamel demitasse coffee spoons with a box from the 1960s. This set consists of the six 3-3/4" spoons which all have enamelled handles and bowls on gilt sterling. The backs are plain gilded silver and they have the Andersen marks and each spoon weighs 9.0 grams. The enamel colours include sea blue, navy blue, yellow, green and deep red and they come with a fitted, silk-lined box with brass fittings and impressed alligator brown paper wrap. This set is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor edge wear and cracking to the rear paper at the seam on the box which may be a replacement. A Sadler green with gold roses Victorian style teapot with booklet circa 1960. This 7" tall and 9-1/2" along the spout and handle teapot has a 3852 (or 3552) pattern number and it features green trim with gold decoration and roses stenciling. It includes a multi-page booklet detailing instructions and history and by the 3-digit Ontario area code it dates to the very early 1960s. A huge Gouda Roma art pottery vase from the Royal Zuid works circa 1950s. This Dutch pottery vase is in white, black and gold. This exuberantly decorated serving plate has blue trim and wild red roses, yellow and brown tulips and other flowers. It has two eared handles and this Italian ceramic or pottery decorative item is signed FNA 127 and it is impressed ITALY. A Japanese sterling silver inlaid metal cigarette case from the 1940s. This well-made and decorative 4-1/4 x 3-1/4" smoking accessory has black patination and inlaid copper both outside and inside the front cover. It also has black patination and hand incising and tooling on both sides and surfaces. The view is a copper bridge over a stream with mountains and trees in the background. It has a pushbutton clasp, a metal cigarette retaining strap and a signature on the back cover which may be a maker's mark or a description of the scene. It has the Japanese rising sun silver mark with STERLING on the inside and it weighs 109.7 grams. A World War II nurse's cloak or cape with black and red from the 1940s. This authentic military collectible has a 16" collar (hook to hook), it is 40-3/4" long and it has one closure with two button holes. It was made by Lac-Mac in London (Ontario) Canada and it has the original black painted hanging chain as well as SCGH embroidered on the back of the collar (possibly for St. Catharines General Hospital as it was obtained locally). It has a stitched M.L.M. monogram on the inside of the lapel over the pocket and this wool uniform is in very good condition with no rips, tears, losses, damage or repairs other than some paint loss to the hanging chain and some wear/rubs and a small repair to the inside of the collar. A simple and elegant Art Deco design four piece sterling silver International tea set c1930s. It consists of the following: the 8" across the handle and spout and 6" high wicker handled teapot, stamped STERLING 2 PTs and 913 with the International plumed knight's helmet mark; the open sugar bowl, 4-1/2" across the handles and 2-1/8" high, stamped INTERNATIONAL STERLING c134, also with the knight's helmet mark; the cream jug, 3-1/2" across the handle and spout and 3" high, stamped INTERNATIONAL STERLING C 134 also with the knight's helmet mark. The tray is made by Towle and it is stamped TOWLE STERLING and 150. The set fits well and looks great on it, although it isn't the same maker (slight surface marks from the tea set). It measures 10-1/2" across, and has a raised straight rim that is 5/8" across and has a rolled edge. The edge curves down, approximately 5/8" deep, to an inner rim. This set is in excellent condition, with no dents, corrosion, monograms, repairs or damage. The set weighs 1074 grams (approximately 34.6 troy ounces or just over 38 avoirdupois ounces, or a bit over 2 pounds of sterling silver). It has a clean and elegant deco design that would fit beautifully in a modern decor.
