A strand of genuine cultured pearls circa 1960s with a marked 14K yellow gold clasp and 14k ball spacers. This vintage 38-3/4" necklace has 128 cultured pearls ranging from 7 to 5.5 mm in size. the gold beads consist of one 6.5 mm, two at 4.5 mm and two at 4 mm. The pearls between the gold balls have two smaller pearls flanking three of the 7 mm. pearls, while the pearls leading to the clasp are strung with a length of 5.5 mm pearls leading to a length of 7 mm. pearls. It's a well thought out design and this strand necklace could easily be worn doubled (see image). A Peru(?) 18k yellow gold and silver Incan gods necklace. This 20-3/4" long (extended) 925 silver and 18k yellow gold necklace, probably Peruvian, depicts what appear to be Incan gods. It consists of 9 hand-hammered and cut segments ranging in size from 1-3/8 x 7/8" to 2-1/2 x 2". Each has an applied silver-backed skin of 18k gold in the form of Inca gods. A quality 14k rhodolite garnet and enamel stickpin circa 1860. This large, heavy and superb 19th century stickpin is in 14k yellow gold, with a 40 point purplish pink rhodolite garnet and enamelling. The garnet is claw-set in an incised star and surrounded by an enamelled six-pointed star in cobalt enamel (more purple than in our photographs). The twisted-shaft pin measures 2-3/4" long and the head of this stickpin measures 5/8" across. It weighs an impressive 6.4 grams and the stone has been checked by a gemmologist. An impressive Regency period 15k gold long necklace with ornate slide c1830-40. This superb example measures 62" long, it has a large well-made slide with black enamel, and it is constructed of double pulley-style interlinked gold loops. The 1" across and 1/4" thick slide has an engraved L. Gordon inscription on one side; it is unmarked and unsigned but tests as 15k gold. The slide has holes where a scarab or possibly a cameo was mounted (and another piece of your choice could be mounted on it), and it weighs an impressive 59.0 grams (almost 2 ounces!). A Regency period rolled gold plate mourning locket with enamel c1835. This 1-5/16" locket features an engine turned design on each side, a watch-style bale for hanging from a chain, pin or chatelaine, and it has a removable central compartment for hair or a memento. The front is hinged and swings out to reveal the contents, which are under bevelled glass (a curl of brown hair and woven black fabric). It has a hand-engraved dedication saying: "IN MEMORY OF Margaret Maclachlin Jane Magregor Died 1839. Dugalt Maclachlin Died 21st April 1849." This 1-1/8" diameter watch features a single sunk seconds dial, blued hands and black Roman numerals and a large hinged rectangular loop for hanging. The face is marked RYRIE, and the case is stamped with London, England import gold marks with a 109926 serial number. The 15/16" (24 mm.) diameter works are stamped 3326279 RYRIE VERNON 15 JEWELS; Vernon was Ryrie's quality gold watch line and they used Waltham works according to archive catalogues. This watch is suspended from a 10k yellow gold pin featuring the three loop Rebekah lodge symbol. The pin has a safety catch, and this pin and watch measures 2-1/4 x 1-1/4" in total. A superb quality 4-3/8" across Sorrento ware wood inlay trinket or jewellery box from the mid to late 19th century. This box stands 1-3/4" high and it has wonderful colour and workmanship. The sides feature red banding and a Greek key design in green, yellow and black with a brown ground. The top is the highlight, with literally thousands of individually placed fruitwood tesserae in a needlepoint-style flower and leaf panel decoration - the effect isquite similar to a carpet; the colours are bright and unfaded and the fine workmanship is remarkable. The interior of the box is olive wood. The condition of this unsigned, brass-hinged box is very good indeed for a box of its age and type, with only some very small barely noticeable losses and craquelure to the finish. There is a small loss along the edge of one corner panel, some minor lid warping to the hinge and front edge leaving small gaps, a thin crack and small corner losses to one lower red band on one side panel and the possible replacement of one half of one hinge with a non-brass one. A Victorian brass & glass fob with a Lord Kitchener medallion. This 5-1/4 x 1" brass and cut French Jet (black glass) watch fob has a swivel and it is complete with a later commemorative oval 1-3/4" x 1-1/4" pressed steel medallion depicting Lord Kitchener. The medal has a high relief portrait of Kitchener (1850-1916) with the legends FEARLESS NOBLE BRAVE AND TRUE and BRITAIN'S NOBLE SON. A Vict. gf watch chain with a 12k banded agate fob. This gold plated late Victorian period 16-1/8" watch chain has a 12K gold and agate fob and it dates to the 1890s. It has a swivel and spring-ring, with a suspended t-bar on a 1-3/4" chain. It has a barrel shaped 1" x 7/16" genuine banded agate fob mounted with 12k yellow gold ends (unmarked but tested). This octagonal facetted stone fob is mounted on two 7/8" gold filled chains and is attached to the main chain by a 7/8" link drop. This chain is finer an more delicate than the usual, and would make a great necklace.
