A set of 3 sterling silver ducks scatter pins from the 1930s-40s. This charming vintage set of three handmade gilt sterling silver duck scatter or sweater pins have safety catches and they measure from 1-1/2" across to 1-1/4" x 1-1/8" across. They are stamped HANDMADE STERLING on the backs, no other marks, and the gilding that remains has a rose gold colour, which was very popular in the 1930s -early 1940s. The bodies and wings are layered and slightly repousse, giving the pins a nice lift and depth, and they are rather charming and slightly comical. This set is in very good condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs other than the loss of most of the original gilding, traces of which remain on the fronts of the pins. This necklace consists of turned and hand-carved bakelite beads in oval, round and barrel forms; the colours include off-white, swirled tan, 2 colour pale green and brown. A gold plated saphiret tassels necklace from the 1930s. This superb and vintage (unsigned) gold plated brass necklace has large dramatic tassels with saphiret (or sapphiret) glass stones. This 15-1/2" gold plated brass necklace has a spring-ring clasp and it has five graduated chain and bell tassels suspended from it. The largest tassel measures 3-1/2" long and 1" across the bell; each individual tassel chain ends in a sapphiret glass stone. The farthest left and right tassels have 9 suspended chains and stones, the 2nd and 4th tassel have 11 chains and suspended stones, and the center tassel has 18 chains and suspended stones. There is also a sapphiret at the top of each tassel canopy. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, losses, damage or repairs other than a bit of gold wear at the clasp and some minor corrosion on some of the chain. An outstanding Art Deco sterling silver enamel and marcasites pendant necklace circa 1930. The pendant itslf measures 2" x 1" (including enamelled bale loop). It features colorful matte enamel in of geometric flowers in lilac, yellow, orange, lime green, blue and black with various sizes of marquisites. Please note that the colors may appear several shades brighter in our pictures than they are in real life, and the blue is a light royal blue, not turquoise. It is stamped EN in a kidney-shaped cartouche and STERLING on the back - we are still researching the maker. it weighs 7.5 grams (pendant only). We were unable to find any corresponding information about this mark, at first glance it looks very much like a piece produced by the Theodor Farhner firm, who were well known for such fine matte enamel finishes and the extensive use of marquisites. It is shown with a very recent sterling silver chain which is not included. This item is in good condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion or repairs other than a visible loss to the red-orange enamel and a couple of very short surface abrasions to the blue (just visible with a loupe). This is a 16-1/2" long chrome plated .830 silver necklace featuring a carnelian glass facetted and grooved stone in the central 5/8" wide drop. An 18k yellow gold wedding ring circa 1950s. This vintage size 8 wedding band has a rounded upper shape and is 18K solid gold. This classic design ring weighs approximately 4.6 grams and it is 1/8" (or 3.4mm) wide and 1/16" (1.74mm) thick. It is marked HARWOOD and 18K. Harwood was one of the jewellery designs by W & H Jewelry Company,Inc. (Providence, Rhode Island, known 1940s-1965). A Chinese articulated silver gilt fish pin circa 1930s. This fantastically detailed and superbly constructed 2-1/2 x 3/4" fish pin is lushly gilded and it is fully articulated and it has natural coral eyes. It has a safety clasp and the mouth is hinged and opens (for what purpose we don't know).
