An early Danecraft sterling silver lily parure set circa 1940. It consists of the 2-5/8" x 2" brooch pin with safety catch, the 16" long and 5/8" wide necklace with spring-ring catch, and the 7/8" x 5/8" pierced earrings. Each piece and link is in the form of a lily, and this set is signed with the Danecraft Sterling mark except for the earrings, which have been converted to pierced/posts (losing the marks on the screwbacks). The necklace is unfortunately laid out with the flowers facing inward - should face the other way. A Mexican sterling silver necklace and bracelet set by Artemio Navarrette. He was a master silversmith who worked for William Spratling, later producing jewelry under his own name. This 2 pc. set consists of the 7" length bracelet and the matching 15-1/4" length necklace. Each has a hook and eye clasp, they are made out of domed cutout 11/16" across segments. Both bracelet and necklace are stamped STERLING 925 and HECHO EN MEXICO TAXCO with what looks like a a joined AV maker's mark - it is actually an N with the first part made into an A. This exceptional vintage round yellow gold and genuine natural jadeite bracelet features hand engraved gold encasing or wrapping around the light green mottled jade. Unlike many examples this one has continuous gold around the interior and six wraps around the jade hoop. It measures 2-3/8" across the interior wall (inside of bangle measurement) and is 5/16" wide or thick. It has a box clasp with a heart shaped button and a safety chain.
