An attractive vintage sterling silver 2" brooch or pin from Mexico with a large engraved flower on a turquoise and resin ground c1960s. The engraved edge and flower are well done, and the ground has inlaid turquoise half-circles against a deep blue resin base. A Norway sterling silver and blue enamel brooch circa 1960s by Einar Modahl of Oslo. This attractive vintage modern 2-1/8" x 1-5/8" pin is a lovely royal hue. This Norwegian abstract double leaf is marked 925 S with the Einar Modahl maker's mark and an N in a square and STERLING NORWAY. The light colour or mauvish spots are artifacts of the photography and light reflections, the enamel is smooth and even with no damage. It has a modified catch which is now a c-clasp (no locking wheel), and it weighs 11.2 grams. A jeweler could add a locking wheel back to clasp. A Trajan silver drachm ancient Roman coin in an 18K yellow gold pendant. This genuine ancient silver coin depicts the Roman Emperor Trajan on the reverse and it is almost exactly the coin depicted here (combine the link in your browser address bar): www.forumancientcoins.com/ (plus) catalog/roman (plus) -and-greek-coins. (plus) asp?vpar=409 (there were subtle variations and differing year marks in this series). It is housed in a custom 18k yellow gold modern pendant setting that replicates a more ancient setting style and it is stamped 18K. It is also stamped R to ethically verify that the setting is a modern version. The coin is set in a bezel and it is intact and unsoldered and the entire weight is 7.1 grams. The coin is in excellent condition and it is struck very well and beautifully centered with smooth surfaces and no overt damage - a truly fine example. Please note that there is wear to the obverse figure and some smoothing of the letters, but it is still a very nice example. A matching 18k yellow gold rubies pearl and blue enamel necklace and brooch set circa 1960s by Uno-A-Erre. This set consists of the 1-1/4" across brooch with a safety catch and the 17-3/4" lavaliere type necklace with a satin finish clasp (the clasp is the same design as used for pearl necklaces). Each piece has cobalt enamelled flower petals with central genuine claw-set rubies, and there are a few random spots with a soft pink enamel around the leaves. The 1" x 1-3/8" pendant has an enamelled drop with a 5.2 mm genuine cultured pearl. Each piece is stamped with a full set of Italian marks - both the 750 (18K) mark and the company city mark (1 AR for Uno A Erre of Arezzo) are in a coffin shaped mark (used in Italy before 1968) and there is an additional mark with UNO AR, which is for Uno A Erre, a highly regarded fine quality Arezzo jewellery firm. A 10k yellow gold synthetic Alexandrite statement ring from the 1950s-60s. This ring features a claw-set oval faceted 12 carat (calculated) synthetic alexandrite with lush purple and intense blue colour. These simulated alexandrites are usually corundum laced with vanadium to produce the color change under different types of lighting, or a treated colourless chrysoberyl. This created gemstone has been around for almost 100 years, and the stones usually test as corundums or sapphires on a gem tester (natural genuine alexandrites of this colour are expensive and uncommon, and most of what you will see for sale is the paler or simulated version). This stone color variation is dark purple-to-blue. This ring weighs 7.0 grams, it measures 15/16 x 9/16" across the stone and it is stamped 10K with an obscured maker's mark.
