A Norway sterling silver and blue enamel brooch circa 1960s by Einar Modahl of Oslo. This attractive vintage modern 2-1/8" x 1-5/8" pin is a lovely royal hue. This Norwegian abstract double leaf is marked 925 S with the Einar Modahl maker's mark and an N in a square and STERLING NORWAY. The light colour or mauvish spots are artifacts of the photography and light reflections, the enamel is smooth and even with no damage. This ring features a claw-set oval faceted 12 carat (calculated) synthetic alexandrite with lush purple and intense blue colour. These simulated alexandrites are usually corundum laced with vanadium to produce the color change under different types of lighting, or a treated colourless chrysoberyl. A 14K black coral and pearl Maui Divers Brooch or pin circa 1960s. This vintage genuine black coral 1-3/4" x 7/8" pin or brooch with a genuine cultured pearl has 14k yellow gold leaves It has a safety clasp and what appears to be an M with a wave through it (hard to see), and was most likely produce by Maui Divers of Hawaii (est. 1959).
