An elegant Edwardian period baisse-taille white enamel and sterling silver brooch with fine engine turning and gold inlay, circa 1910. This antique 2" across pin was made by Blackinton of North Attleboro, Massachusetts (1862-1967), It was constructed from French baisse-taille enamel on sterling mounted with a pin assembly with a safety catch. The bright gold flowers and wreath inlaid on the brooch set it off beautifully against the engine-turned design under the enamel. It has a pattern number 9707, and it has some solder where the company attached the pin to the enamel gilt-silver disc. The entire back is satin finish and gilt - the solder is original to the manufacture of the brooch, and is not a repair (enamel has to be heated with extreme care after manufacture). It is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. An early Danecraft sterling silver lily parure set circa 1940. It consists of the 2-5/8" x 2" brooch pin with safety catch, the 16" long and 5/8" wide necklace with spring-ring catch, and the 7/8" x 5/8" pierced earrings. Each piece and link is in the form of a lily, and this set is signed with the Danecraft Sterling mark except for the earrings, which have been converted to pierced/posts (losing the marks on the screwbacks).
