A Norway sterling silver and blue enamel brooch circa 1960s by Einar Modahl of Oslo. This attractive vintage modern 2-1/8" x 1-5/8" pin is a lovely royal hue. This Norwegian abstract double leaf is marked 925 S with the Einar Modahl maker's mark and an N in a square and STERLING NORWAY. The light colour or mauvish spots are artifacts of the photography and light reflections, the enamel is smooth and even with no damage. It has a modified catch which is now a c-clasp (no locking wheel), and it weighs 11.2 grams. A jeweler could add a locking wheel back to clasp. A Mexican sterling silver necklace and bracelet set by Artemio Navarrette. He was a master silversmith who worked for William Spratling, later producing jewelry under his own name. This 2 pc. set consists of the 7" length bracelet and the matching 15-1/4" length necklace. Each has a hook and eye clasp, they are made out of domed cutout 11/16" across segments. Both bracelet and necklace are stamped STERLING 925 and HECHO EN MEXICO TAXCO with what looks like a a joined AV maker's mark - it is actually an N with the first part made into an A.
