A Victorian brass & glass fob with a Lord Kitchener medallion. This 5-1/4 x 1" brass and cut French Jet (black glass) watch fob has a swivel and it is complete with a later commemorative oval 1-3/4" x 1-1/4" pressed steel medallion depicting Lord Kitchener. The medal has a high relief portrait of Kitchener (1850-1916) with the legends FEARLESS NOBLE BRAVE AND TRUE and BRITAIN'S NOBLE SON. A lovely lady's Ryrie (later Birks) hanging watch in 9k rose gold c1910. This 1-1/8" diameter watch features a single sunk seconds dial, blued hands and black Roman numerals and a large hinged rectangular loop for hanging. The face is marked RYRIE, and the case is stamped with London, England import gold marks with a 109926 serial number. The 15/16" (24 mm.) diameter works are stamped 3326279 RYRIE VERNON 15 JEWELS; Vernon was Ryrie's quality gold watch line and they used Waltham works according to archive catalogues. This watch is suspended from a 10k yellow gold pin featuring the three loop Rebekah lodge symbol. The pin has a safety catch, and this pin and watch measures 2-1/4 x 1-1/4" in total.
