A 10k purple sapphire ring with white sapphires from the 1950s. This size 7 ring features a lovely and very flashy cushion cut purple sapphire (tests as sapphire on our gem tester) flanked by two small white sapphires in a 10k yellow gold setting. It measures 3/8 x 5/16" across the setting, it weighs 2.4 grams and it is marked 10K with an A+A maker's mark. The stone calculates to 2.1 carats in size and this ring is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, damage or repairs. A 10k opal and garnets ring from the 1950s. This great looking vintage 1950s 10k yellow gold size 6-1/4 ring features a colourful natural opal flanked by two garnets. This ring features a claw-set 11mm x 9 mm. natural opal which measures 3 mm. deep; the Bohemian garnets are also genuine stones and are a wonderful deep red. This ring weighs 3.5 grams, and the opal shows intense green and blue flash with an underlying orange (much more vivid in person than in our pictures); it is stamped 10K with an FJ maker's mark. A Birks 14k man's 3 diamonds row ring in yellow and white gold circa 1950s. The size is approximately size 14, or may be a little larger, as our ring mandrel (ring sizer bar) doesn't go any higher. This vintage gentleman's diamond band is stamped BIRKS (indistinct), it tests as 14k gold and it has an independent gemologist appraisal for $1000 CAD from 2008. The additional marks may have been lost a sizing, as sometimes happens. The diamonds include: one brilliant cut diamond .22 pt diamond of I-1 clarity and F-G colour, two single cut diamonds of SI-2 tand I-1 clarity, I-J colour 0.05 pt total. The ring weighs 4.8 grams. Please note that the large diamond has a very tiny chip, as noted in appraisal, so this factor is included in the independent evaluation. The 1950s modernist design would make this a an affordable choice for a men's wedding/engagement ring. This exceptional vintage round yellow gold and genuine natural jadeite bracelet features hand engraved gold encasing or wrapping around the light green mottled jade. Unlike many examples this one has continuous gold around the interior and six wraps around the jade hoop. It measures 2-3/8" across the interior wall (inside of bangle measurement) and is 5/16" wide or thick. It has a box clasp with a heart shaped button and a safety chain.
