An Art Deco 14k white gold amethyst ring from about 1920. This size 5 oval solitaire ring measures 5/8" x 1/2" across the top and it weighs 4.2 grams. It is stamped 14 K with an arrow maker's mark. The amethyst is a genuine natural stone, is approximately 4 carats in size (estimated in setting by gauge). The elegant scroll and engraving owes as much to the ornate style of the Edwardian period. An early Art Deco 14k white and yellow gold watch chain with slip knot shape long links circa 1920. This vintage 15-1/4" long watchchain is unusual, each link has a slip-knot in the center. The links alternate between white and yellow gold. The spring-ring is a replacement, as unlike the rest of the chain which is 14k, it is 10k. The chain is stamped 585 (14K) on the loop near the swivel. The swivel is a moveable one, with s what appears to be an anchor. (tested for gold content, as it is otherwise unmarked). This 5-1/4 x 1" brass and cut French Jet (black glass) watch fob has a swivel and it is complete with a later commemorative oval 1-3/4" x 1-1/4" pressed steel medallion depicting Lord Kitchener. The medal has a high relief portrait of Kitchener (1850-1916) with the legends FEARLESS NOBLE BRAVE AND TRUE and BRITAIN'S NOBLE SON.
