This necklace consists of turned and hand-carved bakelite beads in oval, round and barrel forms; the colours include off-white, swirled tan, 2 colour pale green and brown. A true and vintage example of period Industrial Art Deco design. This is a 16-1/2" long chrome plated .830 silver necklace featuring a carnelian glass facetted and grooved stone in the central 5/8" wide drop. It has a springring catch and is probably German or Austrian. The necklace has the famous angles, textures and repetitive elements found in true Deco design of the era and this is a fine example of the quintessential elements then in use. A 14k jadite or jadeite bangle bracelet from the 1930s. This exceptional vintage round yellow gold and genuine natural jadeite bracelet features hand engraved gold encasing or wrapping around the light green mottled jade. Unlike many examples this one has continuous gold around the interior and six wraps around the jade hoop. It measures 2-3/8" across the interior wall (inside of bangle measurement) and is 5/16" wide or thick. It has a box clasp with a heart shaped button and a safety chain. It is stamped 585 and 14K on the tongue of the clasp and the hinge is tightly made so as not to show unless it is opened. This beauty could be older than the 1930s and it weighs 26.5 grams. An 18k yellow gold wedding ring circa 1950s. This vintage size 8 wedding band has a rounded upper shape and is 18K solid gold. This classic design ring weighs approximately 4.6 grams and it is 1/8" (or 3.4mm) wide and 1/16" (1.74mm) thick. It is marked HARWOOD and 18K. Harwood was one of the jewellery designs by W & H Jewelry Company,Inc. (Providence, Rhode Island, known 1940s-1965). An outstanding Art Deco sterling silver enamel and marcasites pendant necklace circa 1930. The pendant itslf measures 2" x 1" (including enamelled bale loop). It features colorful matte enamel in of geometric flowers in lilac, yellow, orange, lime green, blue and black with various sizes of marquisites. Please note that the colors may appear several shades brighter in our pictures than they are in real life, and the blue is a light royal blue, not turquoise. It is stamped EN in a kidney-shaped cartouche and STERLING on the back - we are still researching the maker. it weighs 7.5 grams (pendant only). We were unable to find any corresponding information about this mark, at first glance it looks very much like a piece produced by the Theodor Farhner firm, who were well known for such fine matte enamel finishes and the extensive use of marquisites. It is shown with a very recent sterling silver chain which is not included. This item is in good condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion or repairs other than a visible loss to the red-orange enamel and a couple of very short surface abrasions to the blue (just visible with a loupe). A Mexican sterling silver necklace and bracelet set by Artemio Navarrette. He was a master silversmith who worked for William Spratling, later producing jewelry under his own name. This 2 pc. set consists of the 7" length bracelet and the matching 15-1/4" length necklace. Each has a hook and eye clasp, they are made out of domed cutout 11/16" across segments. Both bracelet and necklace are stamped STERLING 925 and HECHO EN MEXICO TAXCO with what looks like a a joined AV maker's mark - it is actually an N with the first part made into an A. A funky, vintage c1930s necklace consisting of chain-link blue-stained clear celluloid links with suspended dyed blue wooden balls. The celluloid is a pale yellow with blue staining, the royal blue wood balls are suspended from brass hooks and the clasp is a gold-plated brass.
