A gilt metal and screen-printed plastic pub advertising sign for Whitbread Tankard beer circa 1950s 1960. This vintage 8-5/8" x 3-1/8" bar table or counter advertising sign has white, gold, red and gold screening on a royal blue plastic oval, set in to a metal tripod-style base. Whitbread Tankard is an English beer, first introduced in 1958 or 1959 by the Whitbread brewery. (The Whitbread brewery is no longrer in business). A pair of English heavy crystal sterling silver topped liquor decanters dated 1963. These 7-1/4" tall decanters have fancy round stoppers giving a total height of 9-1/4". The necks are sterling silver and they are fully hallmarked for London, England 1963. They have the P&W maker's mark for Preece & Williscombe (1934-1960) and they are molded (or moulded) rather than cut crystal. Goebel Hummel Virgin Mary Praying Madonna 46/0 orange-peach robed figurine from the 1960s. This pastel coloured 10-3/8" tall figure has a gloss and matte finish and pastel yellow, orange, blue and brown colours. It is incised M.J. Hummel on the base plinth and it has the blue "stylized bee" mark in use from 1960-72. A 10K white gold black Alaskan diamond ring circa 1960 1970. This vintage statement ring is just under 6-3/4 or 6.75 in size and measures just under 1" in length on the finger, with a marquise cut black Alaskan diamond stone (related to silver pyrite, black Alaskan diamond is a trade name for the stone). These rings were popular from the 1950s into the 1970s. It is marked 10 K with a manufacturer's mark. It weighs 4.4 grams. It is in mostly excellent condition, except that the ring has a very slight tilt from finger shape and there is a small wiggle to the stone. This is readily fixable at any jewelers, and we have made allowance in the price for you to have this attended to. A Napco Japan figural anthropomorphic mustard salt pepper cruet set 1950s 1960s. This decorative and whimsical set consists of the teapot shaped 3 piece mustard pot (lid, spoon and base), the apple or peach shaped salt shaker and the cup or creamer shaped pepper shaker. The two shakers both have their original rubber stoppers (now a bit vitrified and crumbly) and the mustard's spoon is plastic and marked JAPAN. The salt and mustard both have black and silver NAPCO ORIGINALS BY GIFTCRAFT stickers and the mustard has a 2T2851 JAPAN pattern number backstamp. This set is in vivid orange and yellow with painted faces and it is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than some linear craze lines and a glaze flake on the spout of the mustard, a small glaze miss to the lower back of the pepper, a couple of underglaze scrape lines to the salt shaker's forehead and some minor losses to the hardened and chippy stoppers. A Bunnykins Sleeping in a Rocking Chair & Lambeth Walk egg cup style 2 footed 1959-1967. This scarce 2-3/8" eggcup was made by Royal Doulton, England and it is the style 2 footed version with the mark in use from 1959-67. A 12K Egyptian rose gold genuine yellow topaz ring. This vintage size 6-1/2 or 6.5 genuine topaz solitaire has gold hallmark for Egypt. The date mark may be for 1943 -1944, but that may vary by city where assayed. The claw-set stone is a rectangular faceted or emerald cut, and is a definite yellow with very slight brown under-tone, and has an excellent clarity. The topaz measures 11.5mm x 9.1mm and has a depth of 7.3mm, so it is slightly over 5 carats in size. The ring weighs 3.2 grams. We also tested the ring, and it appears to be closer to 14K, but is being sold according to its assay mark. It is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. Condition details are noted, and items have signs of use as expected.
