An Edwardian period 14k yellow gold peridot and seed pearls lavaliere necklace circa 1900 1910. This elegant antique lavalliere necklace measures 14-1/2" long. The drop pendant is 2-3/4" across and 2" long. The peridot and seed pearls are genuine gem stones. The two chains, one with a spring-ring catch, measure 6" each, and this necklace weighs 4.3 grams. It is stamped 14 K on the clasp and on the back, and this lavalier is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs. There is a little surface grime visible on the peridot which has since been cleaned off - it is a clear and bright gem stone. This graceful necklace shows the Art Nouveau influence in design, and the lime green peridot was very popular at the time.
