An attractive 19thC American (or Canadian) pattern or pressed glass stoppered decanter with what appears to be an double leaf motif (one over the other) not dissimilar to a maple leaf. This 9-1/2" tall (with stopper) blown-mould decanter retains its original stopper; the detail and relief are sharp and well defined, and this unusual piece, whose maker and pattern unknown to us, is in excellent original condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than some chips to the bottom of the stopper (see image). We would be happy to add the name of the pattern if any knowledgeable glass person would care to drop us an email. Although we aren't sure of the pattern name, we are sure this is antique pattern glass - it is guaranteed to be vintage glass and not a reproduction. A 7-1/2" German or Austrian porcelain hand painted figurine of a bugler. This mid to late 19th century figure features fine hand painting with gold, orange, blue, tan and realistic flesh colours; it is in a style similar to Heubach figures, but many European factories of this period were producing such figures, and it has a shiny rather than matte glaze. It is unsigned except for a painted XX, and it is in very good original condition with no chips, crazing, losses, damage or repairs other than a tight crack on the base at the back and some gilt wear. There are original glazed firing cracks at the elbows, right front leg and hat at the thigh, but these are original to the manufacture of the piece, not later damage. A pair of English Imari lustre jugs from the 1830s. This decorative unmarked pair of early to mid 19thC English jugs or pitchers is in the Imari colours with pink Sunderland luster. The largest is 8" tall and the smaller is 7"; both have embossed decoration and are hand painted. These jugs are in excellent condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs except for some minor glaze flakes and craze lines on the upper rim of the larger jug, some allover crazing on the smaller jug, a couple of straight-line craze lines on the smaller one that don't appear on the external side of the piece, and some very minor spots of wear to the decoration. A 19thC Bohemian red glass and enamel vase. This late Victorian era red or ruby flash 7-1/4" tall lobed vase features clear panels with acid etching with hand applied blue, orange and green enamel painting as well as traces of gold trim on the top edge. It has a rough unfinished pontil and this decorative vase is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than some wear to the upper gold trim band. A Royal Worcester 6-1/4" face or mask jug with gold made in 1897. This exquisitely detailed jug has superb hand applied gold decoration in the form of wild daisies with yellow and reddish centers along with wild grasses. The gold is thickly applied with ridges and jewelling and the ornate handle is gold as well. The mask or face on the spout is crisp and detailed and this jug has the Grainger Royal Worcester China Works mark with the G year code for 1897. The creamy satin finish glaze is quite attractive and this jug or pitcher has a 328 pattern or shape number. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, losses, damage or repairs. A pair of antique Dutch china wedding bowls circa 1865. This nice set of wedding bowls dates to 1865 and they were made to commemmorate the wedding of Dirk Hoogedorn to Agije Brink on April 30, 1865. These 4-3/8" diameter and 2-1/4" tall bowls we given to the guests as a remembrance of the wedding. They are finely hand-decorated with rich gilt lettering and decoration, and they are unmarked. An attractive 19th century Victorian art glass basket. This unsigned 8-3/4" high quality basket features a ruffled-edge custard glass body with clear cranberry glass edging; the clear naturalistic glass handles resemble crossed branches (one has two spurs). The pontil is polished. It has a nice fiery glow when back-lit, and this Victorian art glass piece is in excellent original condition with no cracks, losses, damage or repairs. The ends of the handles have a bit of roughness - quite minor and does not detract. A Victorian English silver plated biscuit caddy or barrel with a carved finial from the 1880s. This hand engraved silver plated Victorian English piece stands 7-3/8" tall to the top of the hand-carved bone finial, and the attached base measures 7-7/8" x 6". A 19th c. hand painted toleware large tray. This decorative, vintage and stunning handpainted and signed large toleware display or serving tray dates to around 1860. This 24-3/8 x 19-3/4" painted metal tray features a large central basket of colourful and varied flowers; it has a floreate stepped edge and the G. J. Rudolph artist's signature. We have been unable to get any information on this artist, however the painting is superb. This all-original piece has slight and attractive alligatoring, and it is in superb original condition with no scrapes, dents, monograms, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a few small spots of gilding loss around the rim. A Victorian silver plate rolltop butter dish or server in the Aesthetic style from the 1880s. This antique beauty was made by Meriden and it has all of the hallmarks of quality and Victorian style and mechanical complexity. It has a pedestal base, a handle with floral decoration, high relief borders and a roll top with a pressed floral design. The rolling lid rests on two pins secured with a chained pinion and there are mounts on each side for a pair of butter knives. This steampunk item remains in reasonable condition with a few issues - one knife rest is missing (3 are intact), one side of one mounting bracket for the retaining pins is broken off, there is some pitting on the interior where a (now missing) ice liner would have been and there is a bit of plating loss on a few areas. The rolltop is functional and this would make a great decor item or table centerpiece (and a great "what is it?" for your next dinner party). A decorated 19thC copper lustre child's cann or mug. This vintage mid-19th century 2-1/2" high decorated copper luster mug features a relief beaded rim, lovely metallic copper luster, a blue band with leaf decoration and a white interior with a pink lustre interior rim. It is unmarked and it has a pink lustre brush wipe on the interior, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, losses, damage or repairs other than an overglazed flat spot on the bottom rim and some craze lines on the interior bottom only. the luster is a consistent deep rich copper colour from top to bottom, unlike in our photos which show reflection from the towel. A pair of early Staffordshire figurines of eagles on vermicular or marble painted bases from 1820-1850. These well modelled heavily gilded 19thC English earthenware eagles are 7-3/4" tall. Both have tilted heads and back-stretched wings. They have purple, yellow and orange marble-like painting on the simple rectangular shape bases. The mustard yellow rocky perches have a blue flower. They not signed with a manufacturer's stamp, unfortunately fairly common with Staffordshire figures. They are in very good, but not undamaged condition. One is undamaged with only a firing crack, which is original to the manufacture of the figurines (see image), and the other has had the lower portion of one wing and the head re-glued. Some wear to the gilding. The breaks and repair are quite clean and it could be restored professionally. The only pair of Staffordshire eagles I have owned in over 40 years selling antiques. The firing crack is very small with only small expected disturbances (including slight browning to the beak of one eagle) which don't detract from the appeal of these unusual figurines. A vintage Victorian English silverplated footed salver with fine hand engraving. This 19th century 12" serving tray features a scalloped edge with modified shell decorations; the engraving has shells, boughs, florals and fruits as well as a complex monogram in the center. A rare, early English flow blue three piece soup tureen c1850-60. This tureen stands 11" high with the lid, and the matching, fitted underplate measures 14-3/4" x 13". It has a floral style motif, and it has an impressed S as well as a pseudo Chinese mark, minor variants of which were used by Charles Meigh (1835-49), Charles Meigh & Son (1851-61) and also Job Meigh (c1805-34), all of Hanley, Staffordshire; we feel it dates from c1850-60 but it could possibly be of earlier manufacture. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, losses, damage or repairs other than a tight 1-3/4" craze-like hairline near the lid's finial, some overall crazing, a few scattered craze lines to the bowl.
