A Royal Crown Derby 6452 hand painted covered entree dish 1907. This fine quality English bone china covered oval entree dish is dated 1907and it was made by Royal Crown Derby in the 6452 pattern. This 11-1/4" x 7-3/4" serving dish has a cobalt band with matte gold painting including a grape vine motif and white enamel jewelling. It is marked on both pieces with the orange ROYAL CROWN DERBY ENGLAND 6452 mark, the M year letter (for 1907) and an underglaze stamped DERBY 6-07. This item is in very good original condition with no cracks, crazing, dents, damage or repairs other than a 3/16" chip to the base's edge (see picture). A great example of late Victorian Art Nouveau tableware. This is a fine satin-finish green gradient-style serving or candy dish on its original Art Nouveau silverplated stand. The 5" across dish stands 3" high, it has a nice medium green colour and satin finished panels flanked by gloss-finished ribs. The 5-1/2" English-made stand (marked EPNS) stands on bun feet, has has screw and bolt mounts and high relief flowers and leaves on the base; the handles are in the form of sinuous tendrils, a favourite Art Nouveau motif. This item is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than some minor surface scratches on the frosted surface from contact with the stand (minor). An Arts and Crafts period 800 silver and cut glass claret jug circa 1900. This antique large claret decanter has a heavy silver handle and hinged top with a ball thumb rest setd on a cut crystal decanter. It measures 13-7/8" in height and 5-1/2" across the base. It is stamped Gebr. Friedland, a Berlin jewellery retai firml, operated by the sons after the death of the founder Friedland in 1829. It has the German silver quality marks (post-1888 crescent & crown stamp), 800 silver, 49961 and the manfacturer's mark for Koch & Bergfeld of Bremen (est. 1829). There is a very finely engraved heraldic family crest with a fish, knight's helmet with three feathers and engraved scrolling. This this top quality rarity is in excellent condition with no cracks, etching or discoloration, silver corrosion or damage, repairs or alterations; there is a 1/4" chip to the crystal on the bottom rim which is only slightly noticeable when the piece is displayed from that side. An Edwardian sterling silver stand up picture frame. This fine hand engraved 9 x 6-3/4" standup picture frame dates to around 1910 and this oval frame has ball feet, a brass support foot (patented May 19, 1908) and the original plush insert. It is stamped STERLING with the Webster maker's mark, and it is in very good condition with no bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a dent in one foot, the loss of the nap to the plush backing, and a shallow dent on the front at the top right. A Posen 800 silver coffee set for 12 in box circa 1905-10. This stunning, all original set is in its original fitted case; this set consists of twelve 3-3/4" coffee spoons with gilt bowls, sugar tongs, and the ornate silver sugar bowl with the original clear glass liner. The box is green paper wrapped with gold borders and gilt shell clasps; the interior is silk lined with the L. Posen Wwe. retail stamp. It has the designation in the stamp Hoflieferant, which translates as suppliers or purveyors to the Imperial Court, which was granted to this firm in 1903. The well-respected German silver firm Lazarus Posen Witwe (widow) was established in 1869, and was in operation until it was destroyed by the Nazis on Kristallnacht in 1938. Each piece is stamped with the Posen marks, and the bowl features an exquisitely detailed gryphon and wreath openwork design; the inrterior is gilded as well. The 4" diameter sugar bowl has a clear crystal liner with a polished pontil, and there is a sugar tongs as well as the 12 spoons. The box measures 13" x 9-1/2", and this stunning quality set is in excellent condition with no dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs and it appears possibly unused. There is only a bit of tearing of the bottom paper, a bit of soiling to the silk on the inside of the lid and some darkening of the gold borders on the exterior.

A Wm. Hutton silver plated Arts & Crafts egg stand for 5 with spoons circa 1900. This decadent egg serving stand consists of five 1-3/4" tall ball footed egg cups, the matching 4-1/2" ball-end egg spoons and the fitted 5-7/8" diameter base. The base is in the form of a deep round tray with mounting spikes for each egg cup which has a receptacle hole in the bottom; each egg cup retains some of its original interior gilding. The detachable screw-mound carrying handle has a rack for the five spoons and each piece has the maker's mark for Wm. Hutton & Sons of Sheffield, England. This antique matched pair of 2 gravy or sauce servers measure 7" from the lip to the edge of the handle and they stand 3-3/4" tall to the handle's top; they have the maker's mark for Martin Hall & Co. Ltd. They weigh 343 grams and have a Celtic design G or G monogram. The feet are a simple trefoil shape. They have a liquid capacity of approximately eight to nine ounces in each gravy boat. A superb and vintage Art Nouveau 12-3/4" across Austro-Hungarian ceramic wall plaque depicting a lovely woman with an earring and flowers in her hair c1905. This terracotta plaque is probably by Ernst Wahliss, and it has an impressed flying dove stamp with a pattern number 1518. It also has a pencil notation 5620/23, which was typical. Some Wahliss items had a foil tag which often became lost. It has a brown border, a black ground and an ivory coloured face with brownish hair. An Edwardian carved mother of pearl silver plated bread fork from the 1900-1910 era. This ornate and out of the ordinary example of Victorian and Edwardian table serving pieces measures 8-5/8" long and it has the shape and three tines found on bread serving forks of this period (however it can be used for whatever purpose you wish). It has fancy high relief finials with acanthus leaves and flowers, a stepped finial and fancy modelling of the silver plate links. It is set apart by the hand carved mother-of-pearl handle which has been carved in the form of a tree trunk with bumps from branches.
