A true and vintage example of period Industrial Art Deco design. This is a 16-1/2" long chrome plated .830 silver necklace featuring a carnelian glass facetted and grooved stone in the central 5/8" wide drop. It has a springring catch and is probably German or Austrian. The necklace has the famous angles, textures and repetitive elements found in true Deco design of the era and this is a fine example of the quintessential elements then in use. It weighs 7.3 grams, it is stamped 830 with an unidentified maker's mark on the jump ring, and it is in excellent condition with no cracks, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs other than a very tiny flake on the edge of the stone (barely noticeable). A wonderful vintage Art Deco Industrial design 17" long and 7/16" wide celluloid and brass ball necklace c1920s-30s. This super Deco necklace has stepped coloured celluloid beads imitating the look of tortoiseshell, with brass balls; it is strung on string and it has a box clasp. An India punchwork sterling silver salver wall plaque circa 1900. This ornate, vintage India Raj period 6-1/8" across footed salver is in high grade silver. This fine example is likely Kashmiri in origin. It features an unmonogrammed cartouche and highly detailed engraving and punchwork floreate decoration. A huge Continental blue aurora borealis rhinestone brooch and matchingclip on earrings circa 1950s. The 3" across brooch and 1-1/8" x 1/2" earrings are unmarked but are undoubtedly by Continental. They were possibly made by Delizza & Elster who supplied some of their pieces. They are clae-set and high quality. The blue aurora and light blue stones flash brilliantly. A huge chain link 800 silver and sterling charm bracelet with 15 charms from the 1970s. This unusual 7-1/2" long bracelet has 1/2" wide solid chain links and it closes with a simple safety loop on the end link which is stamped 800. The charms include: church (with a Lord's Prayer Stanhope viewer), cross/heart/anchor, heart with black enamel center (800 silver, not rhodium plated), cuckoo clock (loose dangling chains/weight), Barrie Minor Hockey Assn. A Howard Sterling Co. 4 piece brush and mirror set from the 1890s. This high relief, decorative personal grooming set consists of the 10 x 5" hand mirror with beveled glass, the 9-1/4 x 3" hair brush, the 5-5/8 x 1-3/4" small clothes or shoulder brush and the 7 x 2-1/2" large clothes brush. This vanity or dresser set matches, it has the Howard marks, STERLING, 925/1000 and a patent date of 1892 (PAT. '92.). Not all pieces have all of the marks but they certainly match and each piece has a fancy script AGA (or AJA) monogram. A Herend Printemps hand painted oblong trinket or cigarette box with floral decoration and gold trim. This 6-3/4 x 3-1/2" box stands 1-1/2" tall and it is probably one of the many Printemps pieces which all have similar and slightly variant floral designs. A group of four hand painted German porcelain cups and saucers by Helena Wolfsohn c1870s-80s. Each has fine floral decoration with garlands and gold trim and highlights, both inside and out. Each has a blue ground and all have the blue Wolfsohn backstamp (crowned D over Hand painted Dresden Saxony). One has "Handgemalt" instead of handpainted, and all have the gold rose overstamp. The cups stand 2" high and the saucers are 5-7/8" across, and each saucer also is stamped with a retailer stamp. A Heisey Octagon 1229 black glass footed fruit bowl with coralene butterflies from the 1920s. This elegant glass footed bowl features lush gold trim and hand painted gold decoration along with fine blue, pink and white coralene butterflies and lily of the valley hand painted decoration. This fruit bowl or table centerpiece bowl measures 11 x 9" (including the handles) and it is an unmarked Heisey Octagon 1229 blank. We haven't seen another example of this decoration or of this black colour and it is possible that it was a special order or line made exclusively for a major retailer at the time (we have found no other examples of the blank in black glass). This rarity is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, damage or repairs other than a bit of minor wear on the heavily gold painted handles and a small drip inside the bowl from a liquid that left a 1/4" spot of fogging on the surface of the glass. A hand painted porcelain lamp - Noritake? This fine quality porcelain lamp has gilt metal mounts and it is in the Prattware style. It is most likely by Noritake - we were unable to disassemble it for examination to say definitely. It has 3 colour Greek mythology-style portrait medallions and a Greek key band at the neck all on a deep and vibrant orange ground; it measures 12-1/2" from the base to the top of the decorative upper metal collar (excluding the 15-1/4" shaft, socket, harp and finial). It has a replaced socket body and it has been rewired in the past; it is in excellent original condition with no chips, cracks, crazing, dents, bends, corrosion, losses, damage or repairs (other than mentioned above).
